^Remember for years he didn't get an accredited (assist)? Then he finally got one and Media was put out. They tried to get it overturned but it stood.

Jordan: 6 rings in 8 years
The tired old bag Duncan: 5 rings (still counting) over 16yrs

really a tough choice tbh, it depends on which coach I have. If I have Pop I'd take Duncan for his longevity, but if PJ is the coach of our team I'd choose MJ instead because PJ can't win dog without an elite SG imho.

I'm surprised ezau hasn't brought up "as long as either > Kobe"

BTW Jordan easily. However MJ would've bolted San Antonio after his rookie contract though.

You always take the GOAT over anyone else, for rings. I'd take Tim for longevity and overall success of a franchise. Tim has as many Finals appearances as MJ, and one less ring, but 15 or more seasons of 50+ wins a season. I think if you asked any franchise in the league if they'd prefer 2 three peats or 5 rings and 15+ years of 50+, most are taking the latter. I think there's more money in it. However, there's more money in a superstar like Jordan than all the rings and all that, because Mike transcended the game of basketball to become a global icon for greatness, though his ownership and talent assessment skills are sorely lacking. Mike could sell out games in other cities where they normally would have less than stellar turnout.
