    Linton Johnson and Eric Williams do not have rings. Linton was a 10 day contract and Eric Williams was traded prior to the Spurs playoffs. So those 2 don't count.

    This record is especially stupid because your "with the same team" qualifier adds nothing to the prestige of the record. It's effectively used as a tool to eliminate better players.
    Except for the fact that its NIGH IMPOSSIBLE to set a record like this because it takes a special kind of longevity and talent and gameplay to set it. Tim's not an end of the bench guy this late in his career like John Salley was.

    You've missed that concept and that alone, invalidates your assertion. If it was easy to do, there'd be more than Tim Duncan and Bill Russell doing it...Get it?

    I saw that I was off by one.....Othyus Jeffers ended the season in Minnesota.
    It should NOT count as a ring unless you play one playoff game. That's how basketball reference does it, the recognized authority. What's nest, count rings for assistant coaches? Good grief!
