Yeah, that Gasol/Howard combo worked out really well the first time.
because without james Houston has a better shot @winning
Yeah, that Gasol/Howard combo worked out really well the first time.
Especially since Miami with Deng would probably have the same chance of making the Finals in the East as Houston would in the West.
Morey pushing in all of his chips for 2014 by forcing himself to pay Parsons a year early. No chance of using 2015 free agency anymore.
Not just a better shot, but a hugely better shot.
Hmm. So if the Lakers beatwriter is right about it not being LA, and NY is basically out of the picture, that leaves it to us, Chicago, and OKC.
I like our chances. FA is so much more fun when you don't NEED them. If we lose out, fine, we still have the same team that just won a le. If we get him, yeah, we just got Pau Gasol for the MLE.
Spurs already took a on the Gasol/Howard frontcourt.
I do believe the team should have four PGs. I aslo do not believe that Joseph will be trade -- especially not before January. I think he survives the season unless the Spurs managed to trip over a player like Beverly, who fills the same niche. Even then, it'd only be after Mills is healthy and for a good haul.
By the way, I do apologize for misunderstanding you in our eariler discussion about this. I didn't really read one of your posts in the line of conversation, and that's why I misinterpreted you.
"Joseph is the back backup PG. He's not leaving."

Bev is not coming, they've decided, but if he did come, Cojo is staying. We'd be going with 4 point guards.
I actually meant $11M/3. But they can't do an S&T if they're over the apron, which they're in real danger of being right now.
Cojo already knows the system and Pop trusts him, he isn't going anywhere yet, especially not until Patty comes back.
I think Howard's the only person to give up that much money on a max deal to go somewhere else, and it took Kobe to drive him away. I doubt Houston will benefit from two guys doing it.
With Wade and Bosh, Miami's still probably the best team in the east, unless Wade is really as broken down as people think.
They can also try to dump stoudemire to the sixers, this should put them way under the apron
At least the 2nd seed, imo. People are forgetting how ty the East really is.
Wades done dude was calling for switches when he had his guy covered v spurs. no way heat are best in east without Lebron
James just did that.
They don't have enough assets to make that happen.
Daryl Morey, ha ha ha !
Good good the Rockets
