No matter where Gasol ends up, thanks for your services as an LA Laker. Not backing down at all though, I still believe Gasol will be a Spur

Sadly I was convinced that Pau's first motivation would be money, since he has already won championships before and this may be his last chance for a relatively fat NBA contract...

The Spurs don't need Boozer to be great under pressure. He'd be essentially replacing Bonner.
I think I'd rather have Bonner at this point tbh. Less money, 3-point range, isn't a bag with colored in hair...
It's orange!
Only way I would take Boozer is if he agreed to wear his hair like this every game tbh

Boozer is a great locker room guy though
Whatever...![]()
Most of you are letting emotions get to you.
The woj post only states what we all already knew, they are working on a deal. For all we know that means looking at other trade options with LA, or finding a third team for Nash, as little sense as that makes.
As far as Tspence, if it is 100% chance that he goes to the Spurs, why would he still be dealing with the Bulls??
DOES ANY1 HAVE LINK OF CLEVELAND RADIO!!!11!!!???/???
Some people would rather be cynical than get their hopes up over a FA yet again.![]()
Nonononono fk boozer no
HAHAHAHAHAHA holy . We have to listen to this guy. I need to hear what this sucker sounds like.
The problem isn't being great or not, the problem is being straight up garbage. I'll take Bonner over Boozer in our team right now, simply because Bonner at least knows enough of the system not to up too much, and likely would be cheaper.
The thing is, Bonner started in the WCF... there will always be some high pressure minutes for our 4th big, due to matchups or foul trouble, etc.

Lakers can get up to about $8-10 mil in cap space by stretching Nash - so a S&T for Pau can work but Bulls need to send out matching $Eric Pincus @EricPincus 1m
I don't believe Lakers will stretch Nash - unless they're getting some real value though - protecting cap room in 2015 and 2016 a priority

The Bulls can't pay Pau more than MLE without a S&T or Boozer amnesty - and also paying Mirotic an issue that may cost more than BAE
Bulls currently have more than $66 mil in committed payroll; MLE to Pau would put them at about $71.6 million. BAE to Mirotic at $74 mil.
The Spurs do not need this guy to win another championship guys calm the down and relax. If they get him its nice luxury but is by no means crucial.
