Personally, I don't think Rose has any ing heart, so I'm kind of with you on that. If you think he'll play again, you have to believe that he and Gasol would tip the scales in the weak-ass east.

Rose is done as an NBA player unless he drastically changes his style of play, which will in turn make him garbage since he sucks at everything else. So him and pau.
It would be cool to get a ring for another of Nash and Amare's teammates.
We don't need anymore over the hill role players. The Spurs are fine just the way they are. Work Anderson into the rotation and it's all good.

Yep, even he did come here, it wouldn't make the Spurs better anyway. Pau would have been nice, but the Spurs have a great chance to repeat without him.
And I wouldn't want Bonner for anything more than the Vet min.

Because the Cavs and Lebron are going to get their way and get all the players they want, including Love while holding on to Wiggins and to counter that, we could've stood for getting a Pau Gasol. I don't want to just stand pat, considering we've never repeated.
Playing time and role was always a factor, IMO, and I don't blame him. A great player deserves a significant role. I'm just surprised no one found the money for him. Chicago got a steal.

The West didn't really get any better, the Spurs re-signed Diaw and Patty, Duncan opted in, and they still have the MLE. Great off season so far!

Well we brought back Diaw and Patty and now have Kyle Anderson. And we still have the MLE to throw at somebody. I don't get the fascination with Pau.
It's obvious he wants more touches too, otherwise he would have signed here easily. The Spurs can't promise him that. We still have a good chance to repeat.
