Don't see how/where it is funny bro. I wrote this song (again using the tune of Before My Time) to show LG my faith and I hope she will develop similar faith, so we both can wait until next year we graduate. Haven't chatted with her since last Friday and I don't want her to think my affection had died down. She's been busy working on an internship in another city recently so I don't wanna distract her, but when she comes back later this month I hope I'll have the courage to go one step further... Like, I'll propose to visit several colleges in our city with her (since we both want to work in college), is it a good idea? I mean, it's not like I'm gonna appoint a "date" or anything, instead I'll just propose to drive her around and that'll impress her more than anything else knowing that few graduate students have cars to drive in China.This is like a cross between romantic and comedic.

Even if I was wrong and LG has no interest in me at all, I'd still be content to have one more friend as kind as she is, tbh, and I'd continue to be a proud celibate. But... if she proposes love to me, it'd be impossible for me to decline it. LG and Scarlett are equally important in my mind now, tbh.

I haven't contacted LG for a week... should I stay silent until I get a legit reason to contact her again (like when I get some more info about college jobs) or should I just send her a message asking her "how're you doing" stuffs like that? At this moment we're just "friends" at best and it's nothing uncommon for friends to not contact each other for weeks or even months, but I don't want her to think I no long care about her. How often do you think is proper for friends like us (me & LG) to chat with each other on AIM, tbh? And what topics are proper to talk about, besides school and career?

Agree, that's why I plan to write a poem for her each week so she knows I always hold a special place in my mind for her. I want to talk to her more than I want to post on Spurstalk tbh, but I'm not sure what to talk about and I fear talking about the wrong stuffs... I'd rather leave the things still and wait for the right opportunities than blow it away with a ty topic tbh.
And agree again, girl's minds are probably even more complex than quantum physics. I remember on July. 3 (her birthday) she left a message on another guy's homepage, saying (translated) "dude, mom didn't allow dating back then during high school time, but now mom allows so... you know it". That dude misunderstood it as a love proposal from LG when indeed I was the addressee I believe, LG was saying that to me because she knew I haven't dated no girl in the past, maybe she just said that to another guy as a method of kicking me to act. She read my first "Lunar Goddess" poem earlier that day and she must've also thought I wrote it for Scarlett, but a few days later she realized the poem was written for her... yet that dude had been pursuing her ass hard since then, thinking LG was flirting with him. What a stupid blunder by LG... you never know what a woman thinks though, maybe that dude was the one she loved and I just acted as a complete asshole to hijack someone else's girlfriend, who knows...
I'll initiate a talk as soon as she comes back to our city (she's currently working on an internship in another city), and I'll propose to drive her around visiting those colleges in our city, knowing that one of those colleges will turn out to be her workplace one year later. At this moment I think the ideal type of friendship between me and her should be just like that between Goddess and Chris Evans imho. Both of us need to stay focused on schoolwork for the next year, doing our best in the pursuit of our dreams, and when both of us get our desired jobs it'll probably be time for us to consider something serious (like a relationship).
edited the poem, tbh... I'm still not very satisfied with the last verse though. LG and I both want to work at college after graduation and it's not gonna be that easy, so I intend to give her some faith & confidence with this poem but the last sentence still seems a bit too shallow.
