On the Spurs front, why not sign Jimmer to a minimum. He's a free agent that no one is talking about. He can't guard anyone, but he's a great shooter. He could have an impact similar to Mills. Both are great spot up and pull up shooters. Mills has a little more foot speed, but Jimmer can pass and work the pick and roll better. Neither can play much defense, though Mills can pressure the ball. For a minimum amount of money, not sure why the Spurs don't give it a try, at least until Mills comes back. Not sure what Jimmer wants, but with no interest, I'm thinking he comes cheap.
The reason they cant sign him is Beli the defensive black hole, if you put another minus defender next to him it would get pretty scary... That'd be like playing Love next to Bargnani or something...

Wiggins will be a superstar and Cavs will regret that trade.
Love already is a superstar and he's only 25.

Mills is a bad defender, and that didn't stop him from playing with Beli. They just outscored the other team.

Love is almost certainly leaving, if the TWolves can get Wiggins and Waiters they should do it. Throw in Tristan Thompson as a sweetener, and the Wolves are getting three young prospects for a free agent who will leave for nothing in a year.

Love has never been able to take his team to the next level and he's had an injury history. Wiggins could be a transformational player. He could be on a Lebronesque level within the next 3 years.

If Hawks somehow managed to get Bledsoe (I believe they have the cap space to offer him the max), they'd be my favorites to come out of the East. That team would be seriously scary with Bledsoe.

Saw that. Bledsoe is high off his ass if he thinks he's worth the max.

If I were Timberwolves I'd take the Wiggins deal, higher ceiling potentially.

I agree. It's not like they're desperate to win now, so the fact that Klay is better at the moment really shouldn't be a big deal. It depends on what Cleveland/Golden State offer aside from Wiggins/Klay though. Maybe Golden State would be willing to throw in Barnes and a 1st or something. Who knows.

I agree about wiggins over klay. GSW should have made that trrade the day they signed Livingston. Now it may cost them playing it slow handed.

I'd take Wiggins, Waiters and Thompson if not Thompson a draft pick. Then try to tank it badly and get #1 and draft Jalil Okafor and find someone to take the Pekovic contract who are in need of a center.

    Timberwolves:

    PG: Rubio, Barrea
    SG: Shved, Levine, Waiters
    SF: Wiggins, Shabbaz, Brewer
    PF: Thompson, Moute, Cunningham
C: (Okafor in 2015) Pekovic, Dieng

That'd be a good deal for both teams. If Wolves manage to somehow dump Martin too it'd be a homerun.

The irony is that TSpence has already confirmed this. That is what has started all this.

BTW, the actual legit guy (Krawczynski) tweeted 2 hours ago that no talks have been had between Cavs/Wolves still. Tspence is the one making all this up
