Kings starting to look pretty good w/ Artest

Interesting how Artest has ignited that team.

I look at the Kings message board and folks are in love with him. I look at the Pacer board and people are predicting an Artest meltdown before the playoffs start.

But, for what it's worth, the Kings are looking like they might be pulling it together. With SAR playing sparingly and Wells out they're still winning some games here lately. In fact, I think they might be better off playing Kevin Martin and Garcia and Thomas over Wells and Shareef. KMart and Garcia seem to be good role players and Thomas has flashed back to being the consistent double-double guy he was during his last year in Philly.

SAR's stock is likely fading, and I never thought much of Wells to begin with.

The King's experiment looks like it's working with RonRon....for now.

I'm anxious to see how he will blow it. Will it be another record release? Punching a ref? A porno shoot at his place with Allure (I had to look up the name of his girl group) singing in the background?

His downfall is so predictable yet predicting exactly how it's going to happen is all the fun.

If he gets the Sacramento Kings back to the Western Conference Finals, and doesn't give Manu Ginobili an elbow to the face in the deciding game, then I'll give the Sacramento Kings props, and I'll get off Ron Artest's back.

But until then, he's going to be the guy who ruined three chances for the Indiana Pacers to win an NBA Championship. For all of Dennis Rodman's antics, dude still won 5 NBA les. He showed up, did his job, and went to Vegas. Artest is more concerned with being the face of all thugs than being a winner, and since I'm not ghetto and this is my entertainment, he has no audience with me.
