IDGAF. not greedy.
Whether you think it's a jinx, the psychological effect of media expectation, a combination of the two or something else, does anyone think that the love the media is finally giving to our Spurs could have a negative effect on their chances? Discuss.
Nah, things are different. Now we've got Kawhi
#InKawhiWeTrust
They'll continue to ignore them from what I expect. LeBron James will continue to be their focal point till he's incapable of standing and they can finally switch hands on Anthony Davis' ****.
i literally think he would javon belcher himself if Timmy got 6
Thread is immortal imho. Thread is life.
the favourites will last until lebron and co. have their first blowout win. Then the media is gonna hype cleveland as the new superteam to beat already
agree, that's probably why Spurs never repeat (hope they'll make a difference next season though).
I think the Pistons were the favorites entering the playoffs.
Stop being a pussy b. be proud this spurs team is getting some shine.
Favored by who? I thought Vegas had Cleveland at the top....
Spurs not favored: LOL they don't give us respect. it, im butthurt, but i'll play the bull "i'd rather be under the radar anyway" card
Spurs are favored: we're ed
Who else has got their together? No one, that's who.
Yeah, I'm in' concerned. I can't take another one.
But the Spurs were the favourites at the beginning of the season, as is where we are comparing right now.
At the beginning of the 2006 season, the Spurs were favoured to win it all again. http://www.nba.com/preview2006/
The Mavs and the Pistons got some love as well, just like how the Cavs and Thunder are getting some love now, but the Spurs were favourites going into the season by a slight margin.
It wasn't until the Pistons had that great record that people went with them instead.
ESPN for one (a couple months ago). Vegas had the Heat repeating right after they lost to the Spurs but that was before they lost Lebron, making the Spurs the Vegas favorites as of that time. Amittedly, I haven't seen recent odds on the "new" Cavs in the past few weeks but I can't imagine they are aready being favored before having played one game together...? Are they?
Well, maybe this is the season you s can shut up about being disrespected
