steelers...wtf
Rice was actually well in decline in 2012. Sure, he had the 4th and 29. But besides that, he slowed down as the year went on, especially in the playoffs. Pierce did a lot of the heavy lifting in those days. No argument on Boldin, but the overall WR corp is better now. Torrey is better. Jacoby has his confidence back. Steve Smith looks like he can be the slot receiver Boldin never was (more on that in a second). Pitta is better, and Daniels is a major upgrade to son. Also, the O-line is better simply by not having McKinny on it.
The biggest reason why I think they'll be better is scheme, not personnel. Cam's AC offense had worn thin, and Caldwell didn't add anything to it when he took over mid-season. They both misused Boldin outside of the playoff run.
Good game, man. That O-line looks horrible. They should have the talent by now with the recent drafts. What's going on there?
God damn the Steelers fell apart quickly. Guess Tebow left his mark in the NFL after all...
I wish I had an answer to that, but I got nothin'.
Is Adams still playing? I didn't hear his name called.
The Ravens are a real to play. That defense has an at ude but that O looks damn efficient. And wgaf about the Bengals. They are a pure regular season team who will fold in their first playoff game. The Ravens are an actual threat in January. Cincy is an automatic win for the other team. After all these years, they still keep their ty head coach and scrub of a QB.
A trend I'd forgotten about........always take the home team on Thursday night.
stfu got, you have no credibility
Apparently he's a backup now.
That sucks. I remember him being considered a steal when he got picked. But I can understand it. He struggled badly when he had to start against the Ravens.
Last year, Carolina didn't give up more than 20 points at home all year. Add that to the fact that there's a 60% chance of rain, Carolina's home opener, and the fact that Detroit plays like ass on the road consistently.. I'm going with Carolina 21-16.
Johnson will get his.
Pulling another "trend" out of your ass after the fact in a vain attempt to keep up your "betting expert" schtick
this is Lions year tbh
we gonna kick some meow ass
Wouldn't rain help Detroit? Since your run game stinks.
we have the best running back tandem in the NFL jackass
and obviously rain would help our running game over their passing game.
jonathan stewart hasn't even averaged 4 ypc since 2011 when healthy and has been injury plagued. deangelo is still solid but not like he was in his prime. at this point it could be argued that reggie bush/joique bell is better
The best running back tandem is probably McCoy & Sproles
DeAngelo, Cam, Tolbert and Stewart have had the most yards combined than any other tandem since he was drafted. Next.
Forgot about Tolbert. He is the type of bruising RB I would expect to do well in the rain.
he was drafted in 2008 and all i did you was tell you about how stewart has done nothing since 2011
and a tandem is made up of 2 units not 4
DeAngelo and Stewart each average 5 yards per carry for their career. They are not worse than ing Reggie Bush and Bell, even at this stage![]()
Why do Stewarts stats from 4 seasons ago matter? Were talking about today
Bro, you're talking to a guy who included his QB in his running-back tandem. He's just being a slippery snake.
