The term $EC doesn't just apply to football.
Yeah, but Texas lean SG Kerwin Roach of North Shore is extremely close friends with 2016 5-star S Eric Monroe (also of North Shore). That's not too bad.
The term $EC doesn't just apply to football.
A name that HornsDigest brought up last night is Colorado commit DE T.J. Fehoko of Cottonwood (UT.). He has 59.5 sacks in his first three years of varsity football.

surely Tech will offer him very soon.
Breiden, VJ and Sam Fehoko all at Tech
This whole year is weird.
DT Bryce English of DeSoto has de-committed from UCLA.
One of the funnier things I've read in a long time regarding Malik Jefferson. From Gigem247:
The same guy also wrote that Malik isn't even the best LB on his own team.Guys, you are missing the point. We don't want him.
We were slow playing him. Few guys will actually do what he and his parents will do. I don't particularly agree with how we handled it, but it's part of the messy part of business.
They showed up. Don't want to put the HC in a position (particularly after a loss) to have to make a determination.
We probably eye balled him. He's slender. We don't need slender outside lb/s hybrids.
we need some barrell chested, bubble asses that can crack skulls
Gotta look good in suspender farmer jeans at yell practice.
That has to be the most BS post that I've read in a loooong time. Brandon Marshall thinks that post was unacceptable.
The Aggies need all the defensive help they can get but now they don't want the top LB in the State??

Per 24/7, JUCO TE Raymond Epps of Arizona Western says he is looking into an official visit to Texas:

Has anyone else heard the rumor that former Texas commit Maea Teuhema may de-commit from LSU? Also that his older brother, who at one time was a 2014 Texas commit, is looking to transfer from LSU?
Same old "we didn't want him anyway" excuse from Aggy![]()
He's been to a couple of Oklahoma (both K-State and RRR) games this year. I think a lot of it has to do with Sione's experience at LSU. A lot thought the flip to LSU for both brothers was due to Maea Teuhema wanted to go there. Jeff Howe said, that whatever Sione told Meae about his first year there, would have a HUGE impact on his recruitment.
Edited to clarify a few things.

Update on 2016 LB DeMarco Boyd from Inside Texas. He does NOT have an offer. An unidentified reporter told his brother, Kris, yesterday that he did indeed have an offer from Texas. Kris tells DeMarco about the offer and DeMarco starts to confirm the offer with other sites. Coach Strong has to put in a call last night to Gilmer's head coach to explain that a certain reporter jumped the gun.
Inside Texas saying while their game status is still uncertain, RB Daje Johnson and S Jason Hall are practicing this week.
Sione has been playing, so I'm not sure why he'd want to transfer.
Update on CB Ronnie Hoggins of Coconut Creek, FL (OrangeBloods):
"We plan to set it up a visit (to Texas) sometime in December," Hoggins said. "I don't have any other visits set up right now."
"Texas and TCU are Big 12 schools, the type of defense they play, they're playing teams that throw the ball a lot," Hoggins said. "And just the way they're recruiting me and the coaching staff at those schools. With Marshall, they've been there from the start, they're sticking with me."
"We've talked about the way they play defense, the way they produce DBs. They said I'd be a good fit in their defense," Hoggins said. "They've also talked about their roster. If I was to go there, what it would be like. If I go in and make my mark, I'd have a shot since they are losing two key DBs at the end of this year."
I don't know if the A&M fans is trying to save a little bit of dignity, but now they claim that this was about Quart'e Sapp (a LB out of Georgia who drove all the way down to visit A&M but Sumlin didn't even talk to him during the visit). I don't know why it was written in a thread about Malik Jefferson.
Hamm had an article about how he feels A&M is losing ground on Jefferson. He then commented this "Malik is recruiting Daylon to look around. Something to keep an eye on."
Hamm also said that Oklahoma is really making a push for Kyler Murray.
It could get really ugly for A&M.
