Sort of a low-tier CIA Pop move. Targetted subliminal messaging using mass media, best part being if Kawhi complains about his TV telling him to stay with the Spurs he'll get thrown into a mental hospital.
The Champions revealed show was amazing.
The le show was absymal, whoever put that together and decided what words the narrator would say sucks at their job.
It seems like they are satisfied already, just back for next season to play with each other and enjoy the last season together.
I am actually fine with them doing that, just enjoy their last season and enjoy every game.
Open Court is unwatchable without Chuck. Horrible horrible role players going on and on about their championship days. BTW Shaq could go on and on if unmoderated by Barkley. ESPN richly deserves Shaq tbh.
Well the Spurs want he takes a bigger pay cut than 5M...
85M/5y vs 90M/5y? that isn't the difference from the initial team proporsal, sure Kawhi doesn't think 1M a season is enough to be a difference maker
However I loved it, a lot of mixed feeling, gra ude, sadness...I can't wait for tomorrow's game and the start of the season to watch the Big 3 on the floor together again.
Talking about ESPN shows I liked Grantland Basketball Hour premiere. Simmons, Lowe, "our" Mic e Beadle, JVG...
Six videos on NBA.com like this http://www.nba.com/video/channels/nb...ectations.nba/

Is it the whole video??
i was wondering too.
Got it recorded...will watch before the game tonight.![]()
They have it divided into segments, but combined together it's the full thing.
I found their comments on game 6 of the 2013 nba finals insightful. They had another chance in game 7 to win it and couldn't pull it out and Miami's repeat has an asterisk mark forever etched in it. that game 6 loss motivated the Spurs to win it all, it was a driving force. It also had consequences for the Heat, it was a big shot for them at the time but if that situation hadn't happened, say Spurs won the 2013 nba le would the Heat still be intact? The way Miami loss 4-1 to the Spurs was a big reason why LeBron went back home with the Cavs I bet, Bron be like f**k it I can lose to the Spurs as a Cavalier give me the max, no more need for some phony bought superteam. So game 6 had a future impact on both teams in both negative and positive ways.
They better not be satisfied, 2014 was a redemption championship for them it was incredible they played amazing team basketball to do it and they earned it the hard way, they still have to get 2013 back that they gave away to Miami. They should still be hungry for another championship, but it's easy to see how they would be satisfied but Pop needs to get them to focus they have to try and do it all over again.

I would say that the Spurs were A factor in the breakup of the Heat, but LeBron was PISSED that Mickey Arison mandated the cut of payroll that led to Miller being amnestied after their 2013 le. MA had asked all of their Big Three to take a bit less per year when they signed to sign Miller in the first place, they all left money on the table, and then Miller gets cut, and they're still taking less when he's gone.
okay. thanks![]()
Can somebody upload it in 720p please?![]()
It's great that the Spurs are getting some media attention now.
But am I the only one who found "nice Pop" a little nauseating?
Was that a formulaic, self-congratulating nostalgia trip or what?![]()
I've heard a lot of basketball people (reporters included) say that Coach Popovich's grouchy old man public persona is totally fake. And he's actually one of the nicest people in basketball.
Maybe that was the real Coach Popovich we saw last night.
