ref counted awfully fast after 3. very questionable. I also thought pop waited too long to get Kawhi in there to guard thomas. waited till the 2 min mark after kawhi had been out for quite some time
Tank for Okafor!

Suns deserved to win that game tbh. Even with the poor officiating, they outplayed and out-executed us down the stretch. We looked old and unprepared, and frankly like we didn't care as much. We had our chances and repeatedly made poor decisions. Gotta get better and win the next one.
You gotta a of a young team there. Thomas was a ing steal. I think you're a legit big away from being a monster in the West.
On the bright side...
Cavs 1-1
Bulls 1-1
Thunder 0-2
and the Clippers are about to go 1-1![]()
super questionable call at the end, but the spurs deserved to lose this one
Damn, I was hoping the Spurs would get a blowout win and Pop address the fans apologizing and offering them a consolation.
"I apologize for playing the best players available. Since this wasn't even a contest, send me your ticket stubs and I will send you a picture of my championship rings....."
Puts down the mic...
Walks back and says, "Yes, all 5 of them."
I think losses to teams are hilarious, but when we lose to teams that I actually consider to be B-level playoff teams, I still get ing pissed.
This tonight was funny though.
Free Kyle Anderson.
when you look at the scrubs getting minutes there's no reason for him not to get 5 minutes a game, but Pop obviously decided it was the "get over yourself" time, who cares if he completely outplayed Joseph and Beli in preseason...
Good win JMarkJohns....you guys are going to be tough again this year. But I still can't stand your color commentators....
Alex Len with the "Ish Smith career high against spurs" bull performance though
Pop played his second unit far too long to begin the 4th.
Why is Ayres still with the Spurs btw? Guy's not even worth what sacre is.
Did Shane McMahon switch places with the ref at the end there? No way was that five seconds.
Lol. The Suns are ing garbage. Only reason this wasn't a double digit Spurs win is because of the refs. No one is telling me otherwise.
One basket in the last 6 minutes seems like it would make any team lose tbh
I love this team, but it's already tragically flawed. They might get by off depth and ignorant ambition, but eventually they'll have their Game 7 2000 WCF moment like the Trail Blazers, I fear.
Markieff needs to become Aldridge. Short of that, or the Suns winning the lottery after missing the playoffs again, they are perpetually good, but perpetually a tier short.
But it's nice to be good. You forget how much it sucks to in suck until you suck. , I remember when I was halfway excited about signing Beasley.
Goddamn...
I can't believe I'm so pissed about this loss![]()
I don't believe in blaming refs anymore, bth.
If we just on the other team in every game then we won't have to worry about refs, but no... s want to ask for max contracts and then not score 22 points in every game so we end up losing sometimes.
And Pop s around way too much. Throwing out ty lineups just because he can.
The loss sucked, but Timmy and Parker's form look pretty good this season. Timmy doesn't look any slower than last season and Parker looked good at the beginning, though he slowed down in the 2nd half. Ginobili sucked though.
Baynes' defense was meh. He contested a lot of shots but he contested them from near under the basket, Thomas got some really easy 5-10 ft shots because Baynes wouldn't step out at all.
I am a bit concerned about Diaw. His defense was pretty lackluster today. Diaw is the one I'd expect to kinda coast the regular season too; has a reputation, just got a big contract, and probably lost a lot of motivation.
CoJo's defense was mediocre as well, he can get up and grab rebounds though so that is cool.
If someone tells you otherwise is because is a phucking ree id.
Daye wasn't in during the meltdowns. He had a bad shooting night, and foul prone, as usual, and could have rebounded a little better, but Danny had a bad night. Boris screwed the pooch. Tim missed two in a row at the line. Belli throwing it into the front row. Parker, too. Boris gets a 5 second call on the in-bounds. Manu misses a free-throw in clutch time. Tim missing bunnies. Just an 4th quarter that smelled like ass all around, and Daye really didn't play much in it. When he did, he was involved in a loose ball, and he nailed a pretty needed 3 to put them back up 5, I believe, and he was 3rd in +/- on the team, FWIW. He didn't play great, but you're pointing fingers at the wrong dudes. Ginobili had 2 points in 25 minutes and those points were from the free throw line where his missed the first of the three. 0-5 from the field. Green and Leonard were 1/10 combined. I mean really, you think Daye lost this for us?
Give Messina a try, tbh.
