so they're kinda like tlong during fall/early part of winter
I actually wanted to see a good game. Both teams healthy against each other ..but apparently having a week off isnt enough for the spurs, they still have to rest on a b2b smh
now spursfan have a cop out. If they lose its expected. If rockets lose expect 20 lol threads

I'm actually a little butthurt, I wanted to see a good game tonight. The second unit looked like garbage last night.Daye.
These guys have only played 3 games, they don't need any rest yet
This. blame the NBA network guys. I get they look at the team names, stars and just pick glamour matchups. But it's stupid. And that is why you cant take matchups like that for mmore than just a game. When both teams are coming off the same rest its the only way to judge fairly.
that game could be ty but would be awesome if it was close or Spurs won ...
It's funny, most player/coaches would have rested the Hawks game and tried to send a message to Rox on TNT and get exposure Pop is such a G he dont give two s about ratings or messages. Pop plays "the course" does not pander to the league media or even Spur fan.
I would be pissed if I were a Spur fan in Houston (game is @rox, right?) that bought tix to see Gino or Tim. But if you are a real spur fan you should have checked the previous game schedule Pop has been doing this for over three years now ...

That and it's about maximizing wins with the added advantage of hiding plays/familiarity with a playoff team. ATL was the best chance at winning when you take ego out of it. Spurs don't have an ego of that nature, to them, they want close to 60 wins if they can get them and you have to be strategic if your goal is wins with resting and not sending a message.
I also think this was reactionary some to Tiago and Beli's injuries. Without our full team anyways, no need to rush/take risk. If everyone were healthy, I bet Pop would have considered playing them. But Manu tweaked his groin, Tiago got hurt and didn't play the second half and same with Beli. It's not just rest
Yep.
I went to the Golden State game last year that Beli dropped 31 in and Tiago played ridiculously well. We beat a near full-strength Warriors team with basically our bench +1 starter. I was disappointed the Spurs starters didn't play but couldn't be mad, considering I saw it coming and the tix were like $20.
In this situation it's fine imo. They did give them like 5 days off between their second and third games. They've got a like 3 hour commute by bus at most (do they fly to these games?) and they were given a weak team at home on the first night of the back to back.
I'd fine the Spurs if I were Silver tbqh
I mean, that's about as good of an argument as you can make, but still doesn't make sense to me overall to do that when you don't have to.
It's gonna be the Enrique show... hide yo wife, hide yo kids, etc, etc
Goddamn I hate Les Alexander and his pandering to china. How do you have a "throwback" night and not wear throwback uniforms? Stupid Jew.
If the Spurs lose by less than 60 points, I'll consider it a Finals-esque victory
that Lebron Nike commercial
Lebron's ty pregame speeches
This could be a massacre of epic proportions
I take it back, this is gonna be a ref/Enrique show...
