Meth has a lot of eastern conference games coming up. I think 5-9 or even 6-8 is achievable before the middle of next month. And Westbrook will probably be back before that. Let's say they go 5-9 before Durant's projected return in mid December. Then they're 8-17, and need 40 wins in 57 games to likely snag an 8 seed. So they'd need to play at a 58 win pace the rest of the season, which is pretty doable if Durant is healthy by then. If it takes Durant until January then they're probably ed though.
They've lost to the bottom feeders of the East so far outside Boston. Unless they play the Sixers/Lakers I don't see any surefire wins. Also, iirc, Westchimp returns after Durant (which is supposed to be mid-December); the prognosis was closer to the 6 weeks than 4.

Not necessarily correct, considering Monta is the SG, but your point that DAF's opinion here is highly re ed is certainly correct.

I am curious if DAF even knows who the 3rd string PG for the Spurs actually is, considering really only 2 have played this season, and Joseph (2nd string) is arguably worse than all 4 of the PGs the Mavs have on the roster (Nelson, Harris, Barea, Felton).

The Spurs should be ok against the Grizzlies as long as The Golden God is fit and playing.

Houston and Dallas are the biggest concerns out west for the Spurs, assuming both sides are relatively healthy (read: spurs aren't right now). Houston doesn't have a great chance at the le but they are very good matchup wise vs the Spurs. Dallas has a lot of confidence from last season, more talent and the second best HC in the league.

I haven't seen any SAS vs Rockets games, why are the Rockets a concern? You would think the match up here favors the Spurs from coaching, bench and star players.

No dumbass, Cojo > Nelson, Fatson, Harris and that other midget they have.

P/S: Monta Ellis sucks infected s for a number 2 option, tbh.

Hey "Kawhi won't be more than a Tony Allen or a Shane Battier type player" enlighten me with another one of your gems. Which of your ty PGs is without a doubt better than Corey Joseph?

Just for the record, I'm not saying Joseph is some kind of up and coming star with the shooting of Steve Nash and the speed and finishing abilites of Tony Parker ( stupid got), I'm just saying all of your PGs suck harder than a hooker with emphysema.

Truthfully, I wonder myself. But the Spurs have lost something like 6+ to the rockets now since they got Dwight.

Spurs their pants against shot blockers. Dwight on Orlando was already giving us fits, Think of Ibaka too. The Lakers year doesn't count.

The Spurs will be lucky to make the playoffs. The guest team in the league this year is the Blazers. Easily.
You should make a thread about it, really

How is Kawhi going to stop him with 3 fouls in one quarter and sittin on the bench?

Is this really the case, or is it an exaggeration?
