Gorgon: I've been a Suns fan longer, probably, than you've been alive. And you're right. Seems like no matter who we have, it's not enough. Wesphal, Adams, Sobers, go three OT and lose to the Celtics and that's the series. In 1977 or 78, the Suns had a phenomenal team with Westphal, Adams, Buse, Walter Davis, Gar Heard and Lonnie Shelton just killed us as Davis missed the series winner at the buzzer. Sonics went on to easily beat the Bullets. Barkley's team was excellent---but we get Steve Kerr hitting a killer shot to beat us. Last year's ejections. This year's Duncan 3-pointer.
Don't know if the Suns are snake-bit going back to the Lew Alcindor coin flip, but every year, it's something, and I think if they don't get it this year, the team is too old in key spots to do much next year.
