If any player ever stumbled onto this place, they'd leave pretty damn quick.
Who was lead here by the old Spurszone.com site back in the day?
If any player ever stumbled onto this place, they'd leave pretty damn quick.
absolutely false. They have countless nights in hotel rooms.
what did they think of your thread about Duncan being done?
I beleive everyone had jump shipped altready. back when Argentine and manu fans were sending PM death threats to Brent Barry about starting instead of Manu![]()
true, they lose their Evita style anytime their heroes are attacked.
Extended family.
I don't see spurstalk.com now on the first page when I google 'spurs'. lol and I really have to google that
I don't understand why people think Spurs players wouldn't have better things to do than kill time on the internet occasionally.
Yes, they devote a lot of time to basketball. That's their job. A lot of us devote a lot of time to our jobs.
It doesn't mean they don't have off-hours, off-days, off-weekends, or even summers to kill some time that isn't spent at practice, the gym, or with their family/girlfriend/dimepiece. Especially since these days spend half the year in planes, busses, and on the road.
Do they care about reading what a bunch of us have to say about them? Maybe. Maybe not. Probably better if they don't.
But they definitely have the time to do it if they want, and most of them have the internet presence already these days.
Millionaires down time much different than ours. lol
Ron Artest used to frequent LG and Clutchfans IIRC..
Some others players have been known to check out forums, too, IIRC..
I don't think most players themselves actually browse NBA forums, but there are many examples of immediate family members and close friends that are monitoring the Twitter/forums chatter for them, it seems..
Doubt they would waste their time to check out what re thread OP made
I'm sure a couple have come on here and lol'd for a bit then bounced. Doubt many, if any, come here regularly.
I believe Pop lurks here for coaching advice, just as RC does for trade advice.
TBH if some went they would have clicked "x" the minute they see the 1st page top thread, any top thread.
I think the FO may visit the Think tank, I actually believe that Bruno was hired by the Spurs tbh.
I'm not just lurking . . . .
If I were a player, I would only come to sites like this for the lulz.
Some of y'all don't know your heads from a hole in the goddamn ground. Myself included, on occasion![]()
If anyone lurks on SpursTalk, it would have to be Ayres. I can just see him looking up what people are saying about him and stumbling across Spurstalk.
Me neither. I just remember waiting like 3 months for my account to be activated.
That actually makes me feel a little bad, tbh.![]()
Yes Matt Bonner was exposed by timvp a few years back in this game thread.

Fam, friends or their agents. Monitor the interaction across social media is part of their PR agents jobs.
PR manager analyses how impact the player's personality on those online platforms, if the player increases/decreases his credibility, reputation, with focus on future consumer buying behaviours and future endorsement deals.
Brent Barry hired us tbh
I've always felt kind of bad about it when it comes to Ayres. He gets so much . lol
