Memphis relies so much on its interior scoring to generate offense. If you take away their bigs (i.e. by fronting them and denying them the ball), they basically can't score.
I don't understand how this team has the 2nd best record in the NBA.
against memphis it doesn't sound that bad thou

First good defence by marco since 15-18
He was doing so by necessity. Pondexter was Memphis' only perimeter scorer back then, which speaks volumes about the sheer lack of scoring that team has.
not quite so easy against the Memphis starters
They actually match up well with other playoff teams in the West. The Spurs are just the worst match up for them obviously.
Just the worst that could happen in that situation. in ...
don't like this lineup with no big 3...
Make first free throw. Miss second. Get offensive rebound. 3-pointer. That's just about the worst-case scenario right there.![]()
Is it just me or has Cojo been a defensive animal this year? Still makes mistakes, but seems vastly improved to me, with more refinement he can be solid. Green-Leonard-Cojo has the chance to be an ATG perimeter defense for years to come if Cojo develops. Just sucks Cojo isn't a pg, more of a SG.
Letting Prince turn back time.![]()
Vince complaining...give him a tech dammit.
That was a clear foul.![]()
ing Udrih now. Scrubs trying to go off.
I love how Kawhi had Beno on him and everybody else ignored that match-up by not giving him the ball .
We'd be up twenty if 2013 Parker was playing instead of that TOSB playing point right now.
duncan getting owned in transition by fatgasol is a bad sign tbh
Sigh Splitter. He should be playing.
Something is wrong with Tony, already missed 3 wide open layups...
