As a side note, I don't think he was the first mainstream EC rapper to break the south/EC barrier. That would probably be Ma$e, when he did The Player Way with 8 Ball & MJG back in '97. I remember tripping out when I first heard the song because you never heard rappers from the south do anything with EC rappers.

Slavery was ed up tbh. This country only survived thanks to free labor. I'm very sad for the people who endured that life, I'm even more sad for them that the generation of today pretends like they were a part of them and that slavery existed 10 years ago.

The problem or FACT is that about 80% of the companies directly involved in the slave trade are still doing business today without even a simple rebuke. Just as slavery led to systemic generational poverty so has the racist mindset of the original founders of these companies been passed on from generation to our day...

i love that lebron doesn't even know why he's wearing the shirt. he thinks he's being a leader, i guess, or just hoping on a trend. when asked about the shirt, this was his response:
