Nets are out of picks for like the next 5+ years
3 first rounders would be a great start on Second thought do it Mitch! Lopez is hurt and Lakers will still lose anyways

Nets don't have a first
No deal then and el is right dwill still on tap for 60 million ...no thanks
Nah, you don't want Dwill's contract on the books in the summer of 2016. Plus, the earliest first round pick you can get from the Nets is in 2020.

Because they fear rebuild will take them 50 years, like those years post Wilt/West Jabbar/Magic and Shaq/Kobe they were lucky getting Phil Jackson Derek Fisher and that scrub Gasol to squeeze two more championships, but for some reason I think the Lakers will not be a team appealing to players after Kobsy retires, is not attractive right now but in the next years...![]()
Missed that it was Houston's. Thought the pick in question was a Laker pick.
tbh, the real question is why DWill would want to play in that Lakers team...
Does he have a no trade clause? If not he'd probably quit like Nash if he goes to LA.
Imo there are two trade partners for BKY/Dwill:
If they want an actual player back, possibly The pacers: something like Hibbert/Scola for Dwill. It's a risk for IND but there have always been rumors swirling around Hibbert & their defense can cover up for Dwill.
The most likely scenario if they do actually trade is that they simply try to shed money. With the amount of money they can save, they have to seriously consider it. If that's the case than NY is their best bet. They could do Amare/Bargnani/Calderon for Dwill/JJ. That woukd save BKY over 50M not including luxury tax savings. Maybe NY is tired of losing. Maybe they are ok with delaying their cap space opportunity a couple more years. I doubt NY wants to do that since their cap situation improves as early as next year - but the potential is there.
I don't think he does, but I agree he would mail it in...
