Marco actually played quite a few minutes in the Portland series, and he did real well. It was after that series he received spot minutes. But he did play in the Finals and he made at least one important shot in that series.

Yeah he did fine against Portland and their defense was awful enough that he was able to contribute. But Pop mostly played him in the correct role after the Mavs series.

I agree. What I said was for Marco personally. He has improved so much as an offensive player with high IQ and awareness. If he just works on his defense a bit more, he will be a much more rounded player.
