This thread is now about how Newton sucks.
ESPN headline: What's wrong with the Saints?
Uh, how about they ing suck (no offense Saints fans)? They have the worst defense in the NFL, by over 3 points to the second worst (Atlanta). They didn't even win the division last year. The only thing keeping them relevant is the media, and why?
How about they talk about what happened to the defending division champs? Quit acting like they are going to magically show up and go back to their dominance that one year they won the SB (because they played Choke Manning).
Carolina is the best team in the NFC South (IMO). That may not say much, but the point stands. I'm not saying we should get the media hype, but Jesus why the are they still talking about this team? It was almost as funny as when Pelican told us to close the division and seemed so sure that it was over, despite holding less than a .500 record against Carolina in the past four years (if I'm not mistaking).
In conclusion, the Saints.
And why did Matty "Ice" get that name anyways? The only thing that's Ice is him in important games.
Shut up got
The most inaccurate meme ever ^. He's never had the chance to be in a big game.
He's won more playoff games than Newton![]()
AND A PLAYOFF WIN![]()
They don't suck, but they have been very inconsistent this year but still have a good shot of winning the NFC South. If they play like they did vs. the Packers and Steelers this year, they might even win a playoff game. And the reason they get "hype" is because in the past 5 years, they have one of the top 5 winning percentages in the NFL, multiple playoff wins, and a Lombardi. They also have a HOF QB and an exciting brand of football, which is also a reason the media likes them.
If you want the Panthers to get hype, then win some meaningful playoff games. It's that simple.

Against the 5-9 Bears.
We curb-stomped them 41-10. They've lost 4 straight home games. Next.
What's keeping them relevant op asks. Well the ty record of their division leader is keeping them relevant
keep this in the college sports forum
NFC South is a joke. None of those teams deserve a playoff spot. That being said, I'd rather watch Brees in a playoff game than Newton.
The only thing Newton is good at is rolling a ing truck. This dude holdin' on to his boy like he about to lose the to someone else. The Saints would be most definitely a better team in the playoffs than the Panthers. That's indisputable.
[QUOTE=Clipper Nation;7728758]Saints with a dominant road win.

to be fair except for the Raiders I did not watch this year a worst team than the Bears yesterday.... ing awful... a total mess
Yeah the Bears are just terrible--With those killer WRs they could not manage anything this year. Is Trestman fireable after 2 years?
