He had some great defensive plays and really brought a lot of energy. He's the other Laker (After UA's Luke Walton) that's I'll pull for.
I hadn't realized until tonight that Ronny Turiaf had begun playing for the Lakers. That's such wonderful news, given the health problems he had back in the summertime.

I guess I'm suprised that there hasn't been more made of his return -- or that I've somehow missed whatever was made of his return. Tonight was his 6th game back, after open-heart surgery. That's truly remarkable if you aske me.
I'm with you JMark -- while I don't necessarily cheer for Luke Walton, I will certainly root for Ronny Turiaf.
If Walton didn't go to UA, I wouldn't care.
He got his first nba basket in last night's game. He got it on a 3 point play too. Made the shot and got fouled.
See, even here it's basically a non-story.
That's too bad; IMO Turiaf's story is a great one.
Yes a great story and he's the mose enthusiastic guy on the team...always pumped up after each score...it's a pleasure to watch someone actually give a . Hopefully his hustle and grit translate into a few victories.
