Spurtalk fan a soooo spoiled lmao
And yet, he's still planning on playing even MORE international ball this summer. TP's priorities are definitely ing backasswards

"But the past is the past" like last year? wat a ing stupid waste of time thread.
Painful watching CoJo trying to defend Lilliard. It was like reliving an episode of Boy Meets World.
But what exactly should Manu be doing?
Green took more shots this game, there was effort to get him involved.
The team lacked creators in the offensive end since Jospeh is a horrible PG..
Who is the alternative?
Why do we keep giving Manu a pass? As much as I love him for what he has done, he cost us 2 championships (2006, 2013) with some of the most egregious boneheaded plays I have ever seen. Just cause he helped us win the other 4 championships, should not give him a pass for his screw-ups. If only we could know what goes on inside of that head of his...
you mean this year... but yeah...
Bad game, rest him a week and move on, maybe Bellinelli can do what he does, gots.
I wonder why people just go out their way to discredit the players of this team. Pointing fingers. Disrespecting.
Oklahoma, Phoenix, Houston fans can take the losses why can't we?. The Spurs won 5 les. Still we complain a lot
FYI, I LOVE THE SPURS BECAUSE OF DUNCAN & MANU that's why I am cheering for this team
NOT that, I am cheering for Duncan or Manu because he's a Spur.
There's a difference.

Manu is still good for 20-23 minutes, but with all the injures Pop is playing him more and it's clear Manu can't play all those minutes. At the end we see he has nothing in tank. When everybody is back Manu will be fine in his 20-23 minutes
he cost us 2. 06 and 13 fwiw tbh not a manu hater just stating facts

Manu, at age 31, played 44 games the entire season so Manu lovers should be the last ones crucifying a player about their durability.
Got em coach
I recall Parker having a hammy issue at the end of that series. Surely that playes a part in all of that. Difference is, Manu is supposedly healthy during these horrendous stretches.
Right now hes got the look of a player that's mentally checked out. Yes he's played long minutes, but it goes beyond that.
The only certain one he cost us was 13. Why does everyone assume the Spurs would have won in 06? That's faulty logic.
I miss him already tbh
Well put. Manu at 20 minutes per game is perfect for this team. You are asking for trouble playing him anything beyond that. Extended minutes effects him physically and mentally - poor shot selection, poor lift on his shots, poor passes, everything. Yet, he does all he possibly can to try and win games. I'll take Manu on this team any day.
I'm wondering why Baynes didn't play more. He could have given TD more rest.
He doesn't get enough hate.
Haha, name me a time Enrique has struggled simply due to an increase in compe ion. Everytime he struggled vs OKC or Miami it was conveniently due to some minor injury. It's like he's unstoppable and the only thing that can slow him down are injuries.![]()
Who's to say we end up winning in '06 though? And that was prime Manu still, without him, that series doesn't even go 7 games. '13 was definitive.
Replace Manu with another decent SG that would've gotten his $7,428,000 in 06, and the Spurs are champs. Fact.
I miss him already too. Not sure who the guy wearing #20 for the spurs right now is.
