Who's ya DADDY ?????![]()
114 million MAYBE.
120? HA.
17 percent of voters were people in my age group. The same as in 2000.
Guess what assholes, you prooved just how irrelevent we are. If I could shoot everyone that didn't vote, I just might.
Who's ya DADDY ?????![]()
So much for the ignorant youth vote.
do you really think they were going to vote? young people, the majority don't give a . and truly don't know what they are talking about. i chatted with some anit-war people at UTSA the other day...they really didn't know anything except what was in their pamphlet...
Now maybe The Boss and the rest of his ilk will just shut up and sing.
Yeah, this is ing GREAT! Woo, now maybe the rest of the country will realize that apathy is the way to go!
WOOOO.
Whatever.
Huh? No, we saw just the opposite. Despite all the pimping by the major media, concerned citizens did the right thing by going out in mass and making their voice heard.
Yes, maybe for the Pro Bush side, but it's obvious that groups like the youth which were heavily Kerry decided to once again, sit things out.
exactly, the republicans ambushed the democrats!!!
BTW, almost half of the nation who was registered to vote didn't. In Mass hardly qualifies when you actually look at what happened and what ALWAYS happens in our elections.
We were busting a nut at the thought of 60 percent even though that's far from a great turnout if you ask me, and we didn't even hit that.
well, what do you expect when demos registered every man, woman, child, dead or alive and their pets!
right.
ARE SOME OF YOU CAPABLE OF SERIOUS DISCUSSION OR DO YOU PERPETUALLY LIVE WITH YOUR HEAD IN YOUR ASS?
Clearly they are not passionately pro-Kerry, or they would have turned out in higher numbers. Most of America's youth may say they are pro-Democrat, but when push comes to shove, it looks like they're not comfortable taking action on behalf of the Democrats.
the one's that voted were heavily pro kerry. I think your right about the passion missing however.
I don't understand how almost half the people in this country can care so little when it's obvious that every vote means so much right now.
i don't think most demos were pro-kerry, they were just anti-bush...and when you don't truly believe in your candidate you will lose...
That's rich.ARE SOME OF YOU CAPABLE OF SERIOUS DISCUSSION OR DO YOU PERPETUALLY LIVE WITH YOUR HEAD IN YOUR ASS?
Oh ing please. You claim to be a libertarian and fall back on your religous values almost as much as the er we have in office. Your one to talk to anyone about serious discussions. ing blow me Marcus.
Awww, don't get mad.
All I'd like is to not be forced to accept that which conflicts with my beliefs and others free to do the same.
But thanks for making it quite clear that your desire is simply to impose your beliefs upon others.
Coming from your ignorant "Some College" ass that is quite amusing.Your one to talk to anyone about serious discussions.
Yes, because allowing people to live lives their way is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO imposing on you.
Maaaaarcus...Maaaanny..... GO TO YOUR ROOMS!
When someone has to pay for 'marriage benefits' to the 'spouse' of an employee it most certainly is.
I think its sad that MTV and such did all this to get young voters out there and nothing happened. I have voted in every major election since I was 18. Now more than ever I believe in the "you don't vote, you don't have a right to " philosophy.
Perhaps the "Vote or Die" slogan was not convincing enough without some actual non-voter deaths.
Amen, brother.
I'm not proclaming to know exactly what Texas State is thinking (and I voted in Bexar), but here are the numbers for Hays County. I know registering voters isn't a tell-all of who's voting who, but from what I know, the College Dems registered at least 2,000 while the College Repubs registered about 800.
Glad to hear Kerry's conceding so as not to draw this out. Bush won, let's work on making the country better now.
