that, the right had control of congress in 96. And your cantidate was NEVER in that presidential race.
THIS is how we on the right felt in 1996.
Sucks, don't it?

I was referring to Annie's statement in the 550 Underground:
I can't believe that The Idiot will be returned to the White House. I also can't believe that I'm so mad about it.
Well, that idiot returned to the white house in 96 and kept a balanced budget.
Who's holding their breath untill the next one of those, are YOU?
Just like in 1996, it is very difficult to win an election voting against a candidate instead of for. The sentiment was much the same. Anybody but Clinton, anybody but Bush.
It is Democrat. Thank ya, thank ya very much.
It doesn't suck at all. I did my part and voted and my candidate lost.
Not the end of the world. I think Kerry did a good job but he should have come out stronger after the DNC. If it wasn't for the war Bush would have lost.
If Bush doesn't do a better job in the next 4 years.....get ready for President Hillary.
How about Obama!! He smacked Keys into oblivion!!
that, I don't want that clinton in the white house.
Wow Manny, I never pegged you for a sore loser...
Joe...thank you. My friend that was very pro Kerry was all, I can't believe you voted for Bush. I don't get you at all...blah...blah...blah. I emailed her back and said that I value our friendship too much, that I wasn't going to get into with her about politics and that I'm not gonna throw our friendship away over a stupid election. She agreed and apologized, but still it really bothered me.
I shouldn't have to justify why I voted the way I did.
Nobody should have to justify a vote. It's all about what you think and believe. If you vote your conscience, your side might not always win, but you've done the best you can to help further your view of the world.
I voted for Kerry, because I fundamentally disagree with Bush. Kerry lost. I did everything that I could to help him win, and it didn't work. So, you congratulate Bush and those who support him, you continue to fight for the things that you believe in during the remainder of the Bush Presidency, and you have faith that in four years, your side will get the better end of the election.
If we lack that faith, our democracy doesn't work.
Jane, I poured my heart into this election. I seriously worked my ass off, it's very dissapointing.
Manny, I think that once the initial shock is gone, you'll get out there and continue to fight the good fight.
