Klay's better at layups, (66 percent to Danny's 63 percent), but on shots from 3-10 feet (floaters, runners, hooks), Danny is at 44 percent while Thompson is at 39 percent. So Green's actually better at shots that require adjustment on the drive.
There's not much evidence to show why Thompson is worth twice as much as Green. If Klay can get the max, Danny can probably get somewhere close to it. He won't (thank the stars), but he could.
