This team cannot function without (a healthy) Parker and Leonard obviously - the last month has proven it.
The season has been a huge disappointment - I'm starting to wonder if the three long seasons capped by a championship just wore them out.
Leonard is the biggest reason why this thing isn't working right now. His absence trickles down the entire roster......
Parker at 60% so far this year is right behind that.
I just wish the crew could get on the floor at the same time, but I'm starting to wonder.

Anyhow, I like Beli for what he was brought in to do. Come off the bench in spot minutes to give Green, Kawhi, or Manu a blow and hit a couple threes. Obviously his role has grown with all the injuries, but Beli playing starter minutes just isn't working. I'd prefer we do a Suns and go with two PGs at the 1 and 2 (Mills and Joseph), moving Green over to the 3. Sure, they'll be undersized, but the perimeter defense can't get any worse at this point.
Yeah, when he is off we really notice how much we need him to be on.
have to agree looks like the 2 past years of long playoff runs are getting to them. Sad, but it happens. It happened to the Heat last season.
without MVParker they are an injured lion out there. a young strong cub lion could take them out IMO

IIRC, this is game #17 in December... it's been a brutal schedule and missing players doesn't help at all...

TBH, I already mentioned a few pages back that Duncan/Green not playing well is the reason we're losing. These two are our most impactful players after Leonard. Well, he also got two fouls in the first quarter. Maybe Pop didn't want him to get a third in the second quarter. At least he's starting the third.

Our defense has been bad but damn, the Grizzlies aren't missing.
