    1. we are playing zone D to conserve energy
    2. we are doing massive subs to conserve energy

=> we are simply coasting in the in the 1st half of the season.

plus the December schedule + absence of the most indispensable player.

and we are only 6 games behind 2nd seed in the WEST.

    Chill...

Only a few greys are actually melting down.

But.. 6 games back of the #2 seed, but we could easily be right there if not for one or two dumb mistakes in each one of our close losses, or if we simply weren't the worst FT shooting team in the league in the 4th qtr+ OT..

This year there's not much advantage to be the top 4 seeds from the match-up standpoint.

Just saying...if regular season is over now, we'll get 20th pick in the draft.

Remember the last time we had the 20th pick? That was hilarious!

    Kawhi has been out
    Parker has been out
    Mills just came back
Splitter still getting back into rythmn

Those are 4 key rotation guys that have missed a good portion of time. You add the extremely difficult stretch of games during that period and it isn't a surprise they've lost a bunch of games. Lets see where this team is at by the end of Jan, by then Kawhi should be back and the others should have a few more games to shake off the rust.

Yes that is all true, but you still have NO excuse blowing that game tonight and a few others they blew this year, that is a lack of focus and not just injuries as the excuse (Which are an excuse but come on now). They are blowing easy games and losing them so far this year they had won or should have won, that is going to hurt bad later if they don't wake up soon and start playing some ball. Right now they are pathetic, period.

Lets see how they play with all the boys back, then I will make a full judgement on the team, in the meantime they need to win the games they can and not fall too far behind. No excuse losing that game tonight, NONE.

We have been losing close games because Pop is getting too cute. He is making dumb decisions with subbing that are biting us in the ass.

Well he had better stop all that crap soon if he wants them to get any rhythm at all this year.

No reason to be concerned from a seeding or basketball perspective, tbh..seeding is irrelevant for this team, and they're losing close games, they aren't getting blown out, which is very encouraging considering all the injuries..

My only concern is that the Spurs won't ever get healthy, and that all the injuries will take a toll on conserving Duncan and Ginobili, unfortunately..it was the only concern coming into the season, and it's not looking good from that perspective..

If the Spurs are healthy, there's no reason to fear any of the weak teams in the West, tbh..

Beyond the inability to defend for chunks of the game, missed foul shots and the Duncan turnover, Green fouled way too early down the stretch. Not sure if he had a brain fart or just got overly aggressive. Pop probably elected to foul but later in the clock.

That is why choking or losing these games they had won are so bad now though, you win these games you can rest those guys more and not hurry so and so back and still have a decent record. I disagree on seeding not mattering as well, if you go on the road the whole playoffs you are bound to get knocked off, going on the road for 4 straight series would be a nightmare unless you get on a huge roll like Houston in 95 or NY in 99, those later seed stories rarely happen unless you get full health later and get on a roll.

I will not relax. I am a basketball fan and wanted to enjoy the last ride of Tim and Manu. This team is just painful to watch. All this ball movement good to great is worth nothing when we are losing so many games. How do fans of other teams cope with that ?

WERD...last night's game shouldn't have come down to the last possession. The Spurs should've won by 15+. They need to play better defense. They let Drummond have his way all night. Where the was Baynes?
