I know everybody has been discussing it and making jokes about it, but how is it possible that Flacco looks like an average QB all year, and then becomes an elite, superstar QB when the playoffs begin? ..he's making every throw, tbh..

I've had him on my fantasy team during the season, he's average, at best..

You can't win in the NFL anymore unless your QB is a game manager that can carry a team when necessary(unlike an Alex Smith), tbh, Manning has become a game manager this year(Broncos' D has been better than their offense all year)..

It's not the Manning/Rodgers/Brees era anymore IMO..Wilson, Brady, Romo, Manning, Newton, etc are all game managers..

That's why I would be surprised if GB wins, as good as Rodgers is and all..

Flacco played at an elite level, but he's still a game-managing QB, overall..the Ravens don't use him like the Broncos used Manning in the past, and like the Packers use Rodgers..

Flacco is scary, but he's not the first thing you think of when you have a team with Suggs/Ngata/Doom and an offensive line playing at a dominant level IMO..

But those teams with game managers who've had deep playoff success also have had very good defenses. Denver's defense is average at best this season though their offense has been the best in the league this season which is why they're a threat to make a run.
