He was making a football play...took a step at an attempt to score a touchdown. I've seen that rule called correctly. This one was a terrible call, especially given the cir stances of the game. The refs become the center of a great game, again.
also the timeout in the first half that made the refs look at the spot was pretty dumb
Anyone who ever says the Cowboys get calls or special favors from the refs can go themselves. This game is a travesty - an okeydoke from Vegas. A black mark on the integrity of the league.
Where we you last week tbh?
Told you. Packers weren't going to lose a close game at Lambeau. Cowboys had their chance to blow them out in the first half but they couldn't do it.
Baseball can't start soon enough
I was here defending the call tbh
By upholding an incorrect call, the refs would have been "taking the game over"
Has nothing to do with Vegas. Cowboys were covering regardless
pretty much. I'm no cowgirl fan but I hate seeing refs take over. Goodell's Nfl feels a lot like Stern's stained Nba.
I think I detected some cryboys on the sidelines.
Rule possibly need to be changed, great effort by Bryant.
Cowboys can only get better if Romo can stay healthy.
Witten, as great a blocker as he is, can't outrun my mother in the open field; someone needs to step up at TE that can get open AND run.
The defense should be a priority. Just a few changes, they did a lot with a little.
That was a bad call. He took two steps after the catch. Clear control. Just ridiculous.
At least the NBA swallows the whistles in the last moments of the game.
Steps don't matter. 2 feet, a knee, irrelevant. If a catch is made while going to the ground, you must have and maintain complete control throughout the entire process. The ball moved after he hit the ground and they made the call.
Calvin Johnson had a similar play on a potential game winner, and less famously happened to Louis Murphy against the chargers (not sure if CN remembers)
Dez should have taken his helmet off and ran directly to the ref after he reversed the call. Maybe they would have changed their mind again.
But it was a coaches challenge. The refs ruled a catch in the heat of the moment
Yep, two falling steps...
So you don't want the Packers?
