    Electoral vote wise it was close.
    I still say Kerry did quite well against a very popular president.
    55 million votes proves that to anyway.
    But I guess I'm a sucker for punishment.

    I don't believe it should have been as close as it turned out to be.

    The "Bush Country" county-by-county map is going to be even more red this election than in 2000. I think it is very telling that, in Ohio for instance, Kerry only carried the most densely populated urban centers -- 16 of the 88 counties (and he carried them quite handily) -- areas ripe for voter fraud and firmly under the control of the Demoncratic Political Machine for decades. Same in Illinois. In Kalifornia, it was the fruits and nuts counties going to Kerry while the rest of the state voted more sensibly.

    In my opinion, the Demoncrats were just up to their old tricks in places like Illinois and Ohio; it just wasn't enough chicanery to tilt the table. As the book le suggested, "They can't cheat if it isn't close." In a twist to that, I just don't think they were able to cheat enough to overcome what, I believe, would have been a landslide if there had been no cheating at all.

    But, I'm not going to complain. Bush won, and he'll be inaugurated in January. I was wrong about the landslide -- boo freakin' hoo. Gimme my vBucks!

    If Bush was a real man, he would investigate the votes in Wisconsin and the Millitary votes in Michigan,

    but then hed just be runnin up the score now wouldnt he lol.

    Percentage-wise it wasn't a landslide, but I was mightily impressed that Bush took the popular vote by over 3 million.. that's a landslide compared to 2000 in my book.
