Ah Aggy. Signing day and instead of talking about your team among other aggies, the first thing yall do is run to Texas threads to try to convince big brother that you're awesome.

IMO you guys got two guys that I would take and one of those could very easily not even play a single down. Whiffed bad at LB and CB.

Seriously? On 247, A&M's class is rated 12th with 25 players; Texas' class is 11th with 29. We have 3 '5 star' players - Kyler Murray, Christian Kirk and Daylon Mack - which is apparently more than the entire Big 12 put together (Texas has 1 - Malik Jefferson). I'd take our class over theirs easily - and I think a lot of Texas fans would too, if they were honest. I also think we'll have a much better year than they will next season.

Dont get so upset over recruiting rankings. And yes we have a whole lot more work to do than ATM. We had absolutely one of the worst offenses of all time and our best defensive players are off to the NFL. A bunch of freshman will not cure us overnight.

Which begs the question, why the did ATM chicken out on the bowl game with us? Why?

I really wanted Mack after watching those all star games. His ability, to go along with all the choices we will have in the secondary to try and stop Big 12 offenses, was needed. We did get a very good DB haul, which is good for us. Mack helps you guys with stopping the run. But this is all still supposition.

From where we started in all this to where we ended up is the first warning shot concerning recruiting. Be forewarned. We were not even in the picture, and you are concerned about silly rankings. Typical AGgIe not getting it.

Love how aggy claiming this 16-6 BS. Only 4 offers came from Strong, the rest were from back with Brown in 2012/2013. Gotta try to create a victory somewhere though, after getting dat ass stomped by a 6-7 team is a "terrible conference". A&M had some things working against them as well. We lost 2 coaches this off-season which were heavily involved in recruiting and lost our defensive coordinator. That would result in disaster for a lot of other programs. We managed to keep everyone in the fold and add some great players late though.

The bowl game claim was made by your 'absolutely no chance A&M goes to the SEC' Texas writer - and the SEC matched up the 7-5 teams to play each other and the 6-6 teams to play each other. And you lost - badly - to the team we beat. Still, if you really want to play us, start a pe ion to get your administration to ask for a renewal of the series as a yearly OOC game.

I'm not saying your class sucks. It's pretty good, especially considering you were 6-7 this year - but I don't think Strong can sell 'hope and change' for as long as Obama can without results. If Texas doesn't have a substantially improved season next year, the 'hope' won't carry recruiting like it did this year. I certainly understand you want to believe Texas is beginning an extended upswing. We're not going to agree on that, so we'll have to see how next season plays out.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! This coming from Aggy with Sumlin who is going into year 4 and has gotten WORSE every single year. Sumlin was selling hope and missing pieces as much as anyone was this year. I dont think Strong will still be selling rebuilding and selling hope and missing links with that fourth class as Sumlin still does.

And the team you narrowly beat in your bowl game, texas dominated. And that was when WVU had their starting QB Trickett, you played a backup and almost lost. Enough with the pissing contest, let's get back to recruiting.

Arky would have stomped ATM as well by the end of the season. Your conference could have put together a famously attractive bowl contest with two teams clearly having bad seasons. We accepted, you chose Arky to go.

I am on record as being mad as about not playing ATM every year.

I don't believe we will be that good this upcoming season either. But I do believe in 2-3 years we will be back, it takes time. ATM was never a force in the Big 12. It's not gonna change in the SEC.

What if Malik picks A&M? At that point I think A&M rolls and UT limps to finish line with no momentum for 2016.

On other side what if Kyler Murray picks Texas? Kyler stated in interview today he almost signed with Texas it was truly that close to happening, if that happens UT likely closes with guys like Mack, Jamabo and Lodge and this would have killed A&M momentum.

Crazy because both scenarios were so close to happening... amazing how much clout both those guys carry.

Considering Texas and A&M both limped to pathetic endings to season and both teams failed to address all their needs with recruiting classes, their is waaayyy too much smack talk going on. Let's not forget that Texas had like 100+ ranked offense and A&M had like 100+ ranked defense. Neither team is going to be blowing up the polls next year unless Ags can score 60+ per game or Texas can hold teams to under 7 ppg.
