You are aware KW is not HOF eligible right?

You probably weren't. Well now you know and knowing is half the battle.
You do know he's in the running this year...right?

Dude, there is nothing about the game I don't know, ok?

Marhawn Lynch is from Oakland. So what other stud running backs came from Cali high schools?

    *** Hall of Fame

O.J.Simpson*** Heisman (saw him run track when he was at San Francisco City College. While at USC he ran a leg on a world record 4x1 team)
Sam "Bam" Cunningham.....Pats all time leading rusher
    Marcus Allen*** Heisman
    Ricky Williams....Heisman
    Arian Foster
    Terrell Davis
    Reggie Bush....Heisman
Hugh "The King" McElhenny*** state hurdles champ
Bass (my cousin Eva Dean married the other running back on that Vallejo team Bass starred on, I started out in Vallejo)
Lorenzo Neal (saw him wrestle while at Lemoore HS. Worked with his uncle Willie who ran track with Tommie Smith)
Ryan Matthews (played the wildcat while at West Bakersfield)
    Rashan Salaam....Heisman
    Maurice Jones Drew
    Wendell Tyler
    John Henry Johnson ***
Paul Lowe (first 1000 yd rusher for the Chargers)
Ollie Matson*** (Olympic 4x4 silver medalist)
    DeAnthony Thomas
    Charles White...Heisman....state hurdles champ
    Mike Garrett....Heisman
    Napolean Kaufman....state 100m champ
    Justin Fargas...state 100m champ (yes, I know)
    Frank Gifford ***
    "Jaguar" Jon Arnet
    Johnny Johnson
    Darrin Nelson
Keith Lincoln.........this guy was the fullback when Paul Lowe was the tailback with the Chargers. He was...unique. He'd score....

    running
    receiving
    passing
    PAT
    field goal
    punt return
    kickoff return

If not for Paul Lowe (vice versa) he's in the HOF. As good a backfield duo we'd seen.

I listed all those backs who played at Cali HS's, but the one left off gained more HS yards than any of them......Dominique Dorsey, out of Tulare Union. He was on a whole other level of quicks, amazing elusiveness. You were constantly..."did I really see that?" He'd get lost in the line, then.......there he goes.

Dorsey was a litte guy, around 180 pounds or so. That's why he ended up at UNLV. He would get an NFL look as a kick return guy with the Redskins, nope! So he ended up in the CFL, in his very first game...

How much do we put into ....supporting cast....when it comes to judging QB's?

    It is a factor.

If you put a great QB on a team with a bad O-Line, few play makers and a below average defense chances are the QB will not do as well as being on a team with an above avergae defense and above average skill players.

Similarily if you put a below average QB on a team with an above avergae defense and above average skill players chances are he should show some improved statistics.

While supporting casts are important they alone are not the sole factor for judging a QB.

I'd have Turpin returning kickoffs not Baldwin.

What a shame Tate is no longer there.

The public is taking the Pats minus the 1

The sharpes/wise guys/pros are taking the point and Seattle.

In their last five SB's the Pats haven't scored a point in the first half. Add that to the Seahawks being a running team and the under looks strong.

Ok, I'm heading up to the hills now, a weekend of Poker (like football betting an expert) Gin & Tonic and the Superbowl. I'll be surrounded by some serious gamblers, mostly Niner/Raider fans. A great time will be had by all.

I don't like the line, nobody does. You are being asked to pick the winner not play a "spot". I can't buck Belichick/Brady in a big game. I want RW to win another one so I can...see see what did I tell you. So I'm stuck.

That gang in the hills are liking the under, and there are trends that back that play. I might go that way but I don't know yet.

So I'll wrap it up "here" at 66-49 plus $2100 (and some change)

Those who watched me come from 330 down watched a master at work, hitting on all but one big play. Going 66-46 after that ty week one. Hopefully you learned how to look for "spots" where all the stars are in alignment for one side.

Anyone talking about..."that historically stuff doesn't work"....shouldn't be doing this, all I play are strong stats/trends/spots" based on just that. As we saw they most certainly work.

I won't be winning a couple grand for you guys next season, I don't like doing this for free. But it was funny watching....."damn, he's just what he said he was... !!!!'.....hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    See ya Wednesday.

    Some traveling music.

I like to look at things from an historical perspective.

Nobody in the history of pro football has combined....wins/playoff success/durabilty/comp %/passer rating/rushing....combined better than Russel Wilson at the same stage of a career. What an amazing QB this guy is and he's only 26 years old.

To even be in two SB's before 27, very very impressive. If he can get a couple receivers, the sky is the limit.

Anyone still think RGIII/Andrew Luck are better?

A few years ago I mention....keep an eye on Russell Wilson, he's going to be special.....this was before he was even drafted. I had no way of knowing where he'd end up. I also said RGIII would suck. And while Andrew Luck was good, he was no Russell Wilson. Keep in mind I had no way of knowing where they were headed for sure.

So here we are three years later.

    RGIII is a ing joke
Andrew Luck is playing in pro bowls
Russell Wilson is coming with in a foot of being a two time SB champ

    Being Avante is cool~~~~~~~~~~

    Never had more fun than...

Damn, look at all that $$$$ he is winning.

    and...

YIPPEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...Russell Wilson didn;t win ANOTHER Superbowl.

    ...on the internet.

Everything is just like I said it would be. I am a betting expert(as I proved) and RW is a great QB, as he's proved.

    Hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little people, I'm the guy who can talk...."Famous" Amos Lawrence, I.M.Hipp, Elvis Pea , "Thunder" Thornton, "Cannonball" Butler, ....FAIR HOOKER!....ok? Yep, a whole other level, and it's ing funny watching you...Elvis Pea ???????

The thing about Wilson is how he didn't need to sit behind a vet and learn the system. He didn't need a season to get into things.
Mainly because the "system" is handing it off to Lynch 90% of the time with the occasional scramble or rollout play to change things up, and he got to play on a stacked team immediately. Doesn't exactly take a genius QB to get that down pat.

Why continue to ignore the fact he took over a 7-9 team?

Did you see the SB replay on the NFL Network tonight? When I saw the game Sunday I was at a party, you know how that goes. After "really" watching it tonight, what in the are you looking at?

    How did you miss.......

    Russell Wilson is something special

They can't lay a hand on him

He throws a great deep ball

Russell Wilson is really putting on a show

What are you blind and.......... deaf?

And.....Kearse drops a pass right in his hands. There is a tripping pass interference where the pass was right on the money, as was everything he threw except for his first pass.

Dude, what game were you watching anyway?

CN, I've always known you're not too bright but damn guy you're actually a ing moron. You're soooooo wrapped up in.....that damn Avante, yes he's an expert gambler as we saw, yep, he nailed Russell Wison, oh wait a minute...WILSON THREW A PICK, YIPEEEEEEEEEEEE......where's Avante, I 'll show him......hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little man, been at this stuff since around 1959, ok? Yep, ya pick up a few things.....honest! You're just a dumb kid who has problems, and it's comical to watch how ya act. Now think stupid, what if RW wins another SB next season, just how dumb-er can you look?

When I was bragging on him prior to the draft I had no idea he'd be doing what he's doing this early, he's better than I thought he'd be. Keep in mind.....I didn't know who would draft him.

Why continue to ignore the fact that 7-9 is a lot better than the situations most rookie starting QB's are thrust into?

Struggle didn't even complete a pass until the second quarter

Struggle's stats in the fourth quarter: 3-8, 0 TD, 1 INT, 5.1 QBR

Struggle played like an absolute scrub for half the game and got bailed out by miracle plays from his receivers and the Patriots shooting themselves in the foot a few times

Brady completed more passes in the fourth quarter alone than Struggle completed all game

Struggle threw the most costly interception in history

    Nobody can get open

as they proceeded to show how covered everyone was.

Little man, the guy has the worst set of receivers on a good team in the league and you know this. So why act re ed? So what do you think when you hear me (tons of experience) and all those tv talk guys raving about Russell Wilson, what....you know better? Trust me little man, you don't!

You saw the drops, the non pass interference, right? You saw the Seahawks on the one....foot....line, RW staring at another SB win before 27 years old. Are you really so ing dumb you don't get any of that?

You are watching the best three year QB in the history of the league and you're too ing stupid to appreciate it. Shorty, let this...I gotta bug Avante, he knows too much.....go, ok. It's like a gnat around a rhino's asshole, just a pest.

Nobody should be this ing dumb, it should be illegal.

Wilson isn't good enough to "throw receivers open" like elite pocket passers can do

Also saw him gag it away with the costliest interception ever.

RW's three year passing stats are superior to every QB who ever played in the league. As were his NCAA numbers. I think the guy can throw a football, ya reckon?

Midget....two Superbowls in his first three seasons and I had no idea he would end up in Seattle. So how did I know he'd be special...well?

Johnny Unitas was cut by the Steelers.
Tom Brady sat on the bench.
Terry Bradshaw was in and out trading off with Tery Hanratty
Aaron Rodgers lived on the bench
Brett Favre/Drew Brees had more INT's than TD's in three seasons.
Peyton Manning had more INT's than TD's as a rookie.
Russell Wilson, most winningest QB in history after three seasons.

The thing with white receivers is they just don't have that size with speed combo. We have never seen a Randy Moss, Otis Taylor, Terrell Owens, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall type white receiver.

Alworth had speed but wasn't big, so it's guys like Largent with great routes/hands or guys like Welker, quick out of cuts. We never see that 6-4 speed burner.

This seems to have been ignored....

    From the SB thread....

To expect a third year QB to beat Belichick/Brady in ...THE BIG GAME...is simply not realistic. Look at the difference there in big game experience, it's overwelming in favor of NE. Now add a banged up Sherman/Thomas and all those stupid penalties.

I will be playing $$$$$$ the Pats in this "spot".

I did have the Pats but decided to not call it in, I did that root for one team and play another in the NCAA le game, it sucked!
