Zero chance of that, IMO. Would make no sense for either party. McGee is owed $12M next season, never mind the remainder of this season. He's not going to forfeit any of that in the form of a buyout, nor should he. And from the Sixers side, the amount of any acceptable buyout would grossly exceed the amount it would take so simply buy a late 1st round pick on draft night (the pick they're getting is from OKC and is protected)....typically in the $3-4M range.
Sounds like it's basically a done deal.
Back to portland. They have a roster spot and need for a big now![]()
Reminds me of that baseball player who was traded for used baseball equipment and some bats - we could just give Ayers away for some Cabana or Whataburger?

Knowing the Spurs they'd get rid of Ayres who can't shoot, rebound well, catch, play consistently and fouls all the time for 6 foot tall small forward who can't jump and has small arms
You know a forum has fallen flat on its face when the most popular seasonal thread reaches only 14 pages in length and 50 minutes between posts.
And Philly to take another salary (Budinger) with a pick...
Parker for Jackson on of nowhere!
Looks like this will be a lackluster trade deadline. SpurPadre must be fuming over his boy Bonner still being a Spur.![]()
