we were talking about what is likely to happen, not what would be wise to do. It's pretty much a given that the lakers will sign an undeserving max free agent and overpay for a role player.. Wouldn't shock me if it was demonkey jordan and danny green for around 32per year
You might be right tbh ...and that wont get us a le. but if they do then what I said to you was right they wont be as bad as they were the past few years.

I don't think Miami can make the finals after this trade, sure it could happen but I doubt it. It's unlikely they can get past either Chicago or Cleveland, and perhaps the Wizards, Hawks. This is a trade made so they have enough juice to make the playoffs. Still think when the smoke clears it will be Bulls/Cavs ECF if all teams stay healthy.
This with ATL and Wiz as darkhorses.

    Great trade for Miami.

Phoenix just looks lost out there.

Could have Miami pulled this one even with Lebron on the roster? Dragic, Wade, Lebron, Bosh, that Whitesomething kid. It would have been something else.

McDonough & Sarver had their press conference this morning pushing another hour of Cowherd out of the way. Shoveling with 4 hands.

Those picks are "way in the future...like 5 years from now, 2019, 2021."

Miami's best hope is that they get a top-10 who's ready to play now. Then, they can use the MLE to add a wing. Then have Bosh and McRoberts come back healthy.

    A Dragic/Wade/Deng/Bosh/Whiteside SL with Chalmers/MLE wing/draft pick wing/McRoberts/Anderson bench wouldn't be all that bad.

Don't get me wrong, Goran Dragic is an upgrade for Miami at the PG position, but people are going waaaaay overboard on the impact he will have. This isn't a stroke of genius on Riley's part, this isn't a game changer for the Heat. This was nothing more than a good deal. By no means does this make them a contender. Analysts, like that Skinny black brother (Muhammad El Asim, Alluah Akbar) from ESPN, talking heads from Sirius NBA Channel, are going nuts and saying this move puts Miami right in the mix. How about we see what dude can do in Miami first before making this out to be the coup of the century?

Dragic didn't last in Phoenix, Houston, Phoenix, Houston and Phoenix again. There's no reason to believe he'll deserve max money, much less have staying power with the Heat. Is he their answer to Lebron leaving? Good Gawd.

Oh yeah, and Phoenix is a dog organization that just gave up on their team and fans. What a joke.

None of those squads played in the East. Im not saying what youre predicting wont come to pass, but he's probably gonna be licking his chops right now with the change of scenery. Not just on the court, either. Miami compared to Phoenix or Houston? Lol there is no comparison.
