Jeremy Lin is having a frustrating season with the Lakers; his head coach has continually criticized him publicly, and Nick Young of all people is telling him he needs to pass more.

But the way he took out his anger at the end of his team’s latest loss seemed a bit misguided.

With the Nets comfortably ahead in the game’s closing seconds, Bojan Bogdanovic scored an uncontested layup to push the margin to 11 points.

Sure, the shot was unnecessary. But as the broadcasters noted, so was the Lakers weakly double-teaming the ball when the game was no longer in doubt. Still, Lin was visibly upset by it, and he made sure to let Bogdanovic and the Nets bench know he didn’t appreciate it.

Don't come with the double team, weak or not, when the clock is winding down.

Why the this shot was unnecessary ? Moral victory for Lakers because Nets shots fukcing layup rather then dribble it out ?

I don't have any problems with it. They had no shot clock to worry about. Then again both teams are lottery bound so idk how that works in that situation; Laker fan should know more about it...

When you're face to face upstairs, it's about numbers. They don't discriminate based on when you scored. When fans and front offices stop caring more about stats than about teamwork, we can revisit this.
