Parke. And its not close
Parker
Westbrook
About even
Last year was Parker, this year is probably Westbrook, tbh..
I think theyre finishing ability is equal, but Westbrook is more aggressive. So advantage WB.
Parker is a better mid range shooter. Advantage TP.
I also think their 3 point shooting equal, WB just shoots em more. A wash imo
WB better defender....no troll, adv WB
Neither have great court vision as far as passing goes.
TP is the better teammate/leader
Westbrook reminds me a lot of young Parker if Pop hadn't kept him on a tight leash. It's a tough call but in the end I can't pick a guy who dresses like a color blind toddler. For now I would take Tony.
Westbrook and it's not really as close as people make it to be, imo
with his physical ability, Westbrook should easily be the best pg in the league, but he holds himself back. i agree with Malik's take. westbrook is about the same, but parker has regressed since last year. westbrook is probably better at this point
got take. then assholes like you about ring counts when its not in your favor
I don't about ring counts when it's not in my favor though... as much as I f**king hate Kobe, he still has 5
Honestly id take Parker any day of the week, Westbrook is just a chucker
Plus, ring counts are pretty much the sole reason why every Laker fan in the world despises and fears Lebron, because he has the potential to catch up and even surpass Kobe by the time he retires
Neither are impressive at their position
so is kobe a better player than lebron?![]()
Parker runs the Spurs offense. Westbrook tries to be a hero.
Parker is going to go ham this series. He always shows up against the best point guards in the league.
They're the 2 best in my opinion, but it's actually one of the hardest matchups for me to judge. When both are on their A games, I'd actually take tony because he does his damage so much more surgically, knifing through the defense and picking spots. However, Westbrook gives you the same level of effort and passion every night and can have an impact on the game in more areas than tony. I guess give me tony now, but it's really close
Westbrook is a lot more athletic (also around 7 years younger), but he plays like a f'ing idiot sometimes... and I hate his clothes.
So Parker.
Currently, no. However, Kobe is more clutch and I would much rather have him close out a game than Lebron James and it's not even close
good to know ESPN narratives still resonate with some people
They're like two brothers born to different moms, both playing hero ball. it's a good coach (Pop) that makes the difference between them two imho.
If it was RWB (who Pop can control btw unlike Brooks) and not Parker who was the starting PG of SA in last year's Finals, Spurs close it out in 6.
or if professor x can control him like jean grey. from a pure talent standpoint, RW could be a top 3 player in the league on both sides
