I think most people bash Parker because his fans bash the other spurs. And let's face it, there are more player fans of Parker than any other players on the team.
Yup..I mean Parker is one of my favorite spurs of all time..But this player fans are making things really annoying.
This team goes as far as MVParker and Matrix 2.0 take em
Love em both. And the rest of the team.
player fans
Exactly
I've criticized Parker for his play a lot.
TP's play earlier this year deserved bashing, tbh. Endless trolling? Not so much.
Dude has four rings. I can understand endless trolling but dude has earned his fame. Enough said.
SequSpur - truer words have never been spoken. I've got to admit I was extremely worried about him, and it must have been humiliating for him I know he was hearing the bad press, he's not one to deny listening to the press. But he EARNED the right to play himself back into shape. Man, if we enter the postseason with a 95% Tony Parker, 95% Kawhi Leonard, and an 85% Manu Ginobili, and I'll take Tim Duncan for whatever he can bring, I like our chances this year. All of a sudden, it seems like they are winding into form, with Tim Duncan slacking off a bit, saving it for the postseason. And there's one thing I thought of today. Of course we all saw how they came back from the Finals heartbreak of 2012-2013 to run LeBron out of Miami in 2013-2014. What if they're not done? What if they're still fueled by that? That would explain the coasting during the year, they don't give a damn about the regular season, stay healthy. The hunger might still be there from 2012-2013. Can you imagine a back-to-back? Long way to go....
But he EARNED the right to play himself back into shape
See this is the point. What's the point of posting endless stats if the story was injury from the start. It's just dumb to use stats when the common truth suffices with an obvious explanation.
There was always a chance that Parker really was done. Anyone who said that though should be prepared to eat crow if Parker continues to play well.
Also, who are these, player fans that bash other players to prop up Parker? I usually only hear hater and tgy, that's an awfully small sample. But I guess some people are sensitive.
There are maybe 2 or 3 members on this entire board that have anything negative to say on a regular basis (excepting Ayres who everyone doesn't like). You want to provide any sort of proof where there is widespread bashing of other players?
Is this guy for real tbh ?![]()
If you bash any Spurs player you're moron.
Booster seat using midget dwarf.
also because he actually sucked .
lol short bus backpedaling so hard they're using past tense now.![]()
If one player retiring or being traded would mean you no longer being a Spurs fan........ the off.
If that player was obviously injured and several idiots refused to consider that he might return to health, i think it would mean they have a severe emotional problem. If that player was a hall of fame candidate, part of big 3, best PG in spurs history, then yes it would be insulting to trade them..
It was moronic too, because you can't trade an injured player and full value. Right now parker is roughly worth a first round pick, in October it was a second. Buy low sell high.
The metaphor that always came to mind was this. You buy a car. You drive it for ten years and then one day it won't start. Do you, send someone to tow it to the scrap yard or do you take it to the mechanic? Lots of spurs fans were leaving Parker by the side of the road because they were too impatient to see if he could recover.
REAL DUMB ASSES.
I never mentioned trading Parker. So......yeah.
Calling like it is. He is now an nba player right now. Decent at best. I know what I mean when I type it.
I bash Porker, are you gonna punch me?
When he was playing like , he deserved to be called out for it, tbh. Now that he's improved his play you don't really see that much Parker-bashing anymore.
