“Keylor might play, equally Casillas could play. It isn't about singling anybody out. If Keylor plays it is about giving playing time to a player who is training very well. If Keylor plays, then Casillas will play against Barcelona. If Casillas plays, then Casillas will also play against Barcelona. Keylor is doing well. He isn't crying every day. He is enthusiastic. We works seriously and we have confidence in him".
    What a statement.

Look at Tristiano's reaction after Bale's goal.

But he's so nice, he gives to charity and appears on fabricated filmed skits with kids. I don't know why people dislike him

Messi is like the cheat mode on FIFA, so I guess he always cheats tbh.

He evades his defenders and his taxes like a boss... can't hate on a guy that slick and crafty.

Barcelona having a midweek game before El Clasico is bull , tbh. I don't know how Barca's management let that happen, you can bet your balls Florentino wouldn't have let that happen to Madrid.

I think it just happened by chance. Nobody projected it would be this kind of a schedule for Barcelona until it was there. Anyway both are home games so there's that

Before the season you know when the Clasico and the round of 16 of the UCL will be played. The most sensible thing to do is to schedule "El Clasico" on a week where there's no UCL to be played.

You cannot forecast UCL draws, unless you have inside sources that can prove that it was rigged so that Barcelona would play Man City in the same week as El Clásico. And if it was indeed rigged, why not let them play Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the same week as the El Clásico so that they'll REALLY be dead tired? If Barcelona drew Shakhtar instead of City I don't think you would be complaining about the schedule. Again, both games will be played at the Camp Nou so they won't be too tired from traveling.

No, you can't forecast draws but you know beforehand which weeks the UCL will be played no matter the draw. Schedule "El Clasico" on a week where you know there will be no UCL so that these kind of things don't have a chance of happening. Sunday's game could decide the le, it's unfair that one team will have to get there with less time to rest.

I don't think it bothers them. Barcelona have some momentum going into the games against City and Madrid. It's not like they're flat lining heading into the matches. Messi is playing like he gives a again, Suárez finding his role, so their chances look good in both matches, whatever the scheduling tricks the LFP and the RFEF have in their mind.

I don't know, it's the clasico, even if one team was on a 10 game losing streak and the other on a 10 game winning streak you'd still get an amazing game because the rivalry transcends their respective forms.

Modric and Ramos are back at an ideal time. Bale always causes Barca problems and I still don't trust Matthieu who will probably end up playing thanks to Busquets' injury.

I'd actually be okay with a draw even, just don't want to give up the 3 points.

It's funny because I remember Ronaldo specifically complaining that Barca got one day extra rest than Madrid did last time they faced each other.

Of course he has no comment on the scheduling now

Hopefully Barca can get the first goal early and put away the game. City looked like dog vs Burnley.
