    Yep, the Spurs were taking bad shots in that stretch. They didn't take advantage of the Amare-Dirk frontcourt.

    Carlisle must be a genius ... Spurs offense completely evaporated in the second quarter. How is that possible? Atlanta was never able to get a grip on the Spurs and they sure as are better defensively than Dallas.

    Diaw made all his shots vs. Atlanta(8-10 with a few 3s) and ran the offense for large stretches..he's 3-7 with 3 turnovers tonight with similar looks, tbh..

    The team is missing 3s, too, of course..

    The mavs made a run, which is what talented players can do, but the spurs just need to keep it close and impose discipline down the stretch. MAvs can't do that. WEll at least i think they can't. WE'll see.
