i am. do you really think we are going to repeat? i mean after all this time it's going to happen now. i dunno we're due for some ty early round exit. we had a good chance with the 2 seed but blew that. chris paul im sure is tired of getting his ass kicked by us and will have some epic series. we'll lose and tim and manu will retire and the team will never be the same.

I look at this as the Rockets in 94-95. Adding Drexler late in the season like getting KL and TS back from injury. Having to go through the best record in the league to win. Spurs get their B2B this year. If not now, then for sure in 2017.
We've had periods where the TEAM ball has been as good as last year.

this. If last season was your first Spurs championship, I get it, otherwise this is a road we've traveled before....
They won 5. I'm good now. It's now up to all these lesser teams to catch up.
What is with y'all? I've enjoyed all 5 and would be fine if that's it. But discounting how important 6 would be is nuts.
I think the key is Dallas. I dont think the Spurs can win 3 straight road series but if they can draw Dallas in round two then it would be essentially just one extra road series for drawing the 6th seed.

Nobody is discounting how nice 6 would be. It's just a reality that winning it all is hard, you gotta get a lot of breaks going your way. It was great it all came together last season, especially the way it did and against the Heat and what not.
It's just that the whole redemption storyline will be hard to top, tbh
Getting your first le is important. Spurs have five ing rings. 6 would be nice, but it's just a spoiled at ude to say it's important tbh.

Pretty much this. The Clippers could go 2001 Lakers on the Spurs and I wouldn't be too pissed after getting 5.

Yeah, just don't have the emotion invested in this year's team like last year. If they lose in the first round, it'll be disappointing but not devastating.
