We could have played the Mavs but Pop was happy to give away the 2 seed.
right here but fact of the matter is this Spurs are all playing like crap tonight except Patty who played his way onto the 3rd string.
We could have played the Mavs but Pop was happy to give away the 2 seed.
Blow this team up. Big 3 need to retire. Build around Kawhi. Pop can gtfo too.
Some people owe Robdiaz an apology tbh.
Dagger. On to Game 2.
Porch monkey ball. 4 the clips.
Yep. Otherwise, just the usual uglied up playoff game.
Maybe Green's confidence was shot during the season finale. No words can explain the rationale behind sitting Green that much in a game that was desperately needed.
Haven't seen Danny play this poorly in playoffs since 2012 Thunder
TP always wondered why they leave him open, tbh.
just pull the ing starters already, the game is over.
i can grasp it just fine. i just dont have the urge to find 1-2 scapegoats when the team as a whole has largely played like .
its easy to just claim a scapegoat because then you can convince yourself "we'll win easily if we just play them less"... when instead you just have to face the music and realize the team just has to play better period
lol no.
Which troll account is this?
Put Parker on Paul...Danny can't guard him.
The big problem guys is the LAC have had our number all season.. It's gonna be a sweep at this rate.. Maybe 5
Not till the clock says 0:00. Can't do it....and never will do it.
Pop ed this game up badly with his subs
Time to regroup for Game 2, and use the rest of the time in this game to get some confidence. KL not really used to the double team, and it seemed to fluster him -- need to get him more touches in the motion offense and less in iso situations. Tim needs to go at Jordan or else he'll be free to go pogo stick on D -- too much Baynes as a primary option in the post in this game (head scratching really). Hopefully Parker and Splitter feel better health-wise for the next game bc they weren't a factor tonight. Danny Green needs to see a few 3 balls go in to get his confidence back, and Boris needs to play a larger facilitating the offense is TP is less than 100 percent. Manu played with balls today, but was the only one (may be Mills and marco too).
Spurs typically start slow in the first round, but there is wiggle room in this series starting on the road.
I'd be shocked if Pop doesn't adjust to the aggressive on-ball defense of the Clippers.
If only the Spurs had no missed FTs they'd be just a couple pts down
we've got to anticipate the screens better. We know it's coming and just settle for the switch.
I really hope that these guys are happy that they came out like s against New Orleans and helped themselves to that six seed. I wonder how happy they are with themselves right about now.
Like someone else here said earlier...homecourt is about role players playing significantly better at home. In this case, Green... (among others)
Why are the starters still in?
