All Spurs fans who said Clippers were easy pickings.

3rd straight game they kicked our teeth in.

The Clips aren't the ty Mavs. Pop is a complete moron for treating the Pels game like just another game.
I don't blame that game. But we can blame the 3OT chokes, the Lakers loss, the Knicks loss, and the Cavs choke. It is what it is...let's just win Wednesday.

I hope Patty is the backup PG after tonight, this is not a series for CoJo. We need jump shooters because it'll be tough to get shots off in the paint. Danny, Manu and Diaw need to get their together for game 2. Also if the Clippers are going to double Kawhi then the offense needs to be ran through him and punish the Clips.

    Thoughts about Game 2:

-Don't think Tiago will be much of a factor this series
-Green + Big 3 were all terrible at various times
-Kawhi didn't know how to adjust to the hard double
-Pop didn't call a meaningful timeout all game
-Zero compe ive fire from the team in general

Still really early but it's got the makings of one team just wanting it more this season. Pop looks mentally checked out these last couple of games. With Splitter looking done, I'd say the Spurs are in an uphill battle.

Reason we were in such a hole was Parker playing like ass most of the season. Getting outplayed by scrubs and D-League point guards

Timmy said it. Whatever they felt, they got over pretty quickly. This is what we have, this is what we have to face.
I didn't hear/read that quote. If that's true, they didn't really come with anything tonight.

Lol, you mean the Dirk/Chandler/Barea/Carlisle championship Mavs that now has Monta/Rondo/Parsons/Stoudemire? Or the perennial choker Clippers? Please.

I thought Pop was just experimenting out there. I think he'll tighten the rotation as we move along this series.

I mean, I expect the usual "shots didn't go in"... and he isn't totally wrong.

What if Duncan was not in foul trouble? They had a run when he was out on bench. They never recovered.

I would go so far as to say the entire Spurs team played perfectly the whole season. When Parker was hurt, we were like the best team in the league by far. I'm calling 16-0 from here on out if we bench Parker. This team is that good. We just need to somehow cut the deadweight Parker. He hasn't played good since the Pelicans game.

First practice video on spurs.com, IIRC. He said the NO game was not the only game they felt they could've won and gotten in a better position, but it's over now.

I mean, how long you expect them to dwell on that? This is the opponent they have to face, so be it.

Danny playing terrible and Splitter not being healthy gives him excuses for tonight. But I think he's been pretty meh for much of the season tbh when I thought he was terrific last year.

Not a single "run stopping" timeout was called by Pop tonight. Was just odd IMO.

Beating a perennial choker that has never made it past the second round and that you've never lost to in the playoffs is more difficult than beating a proven champion with the same coach and stars and better role players? Whose the moron?

10/33 from 3? Holy that is waaay too many 3 pt attempts. And 14/26 from the FT line didnt help at all either. 15 TO's. I could go on and on but that is too many negative numbers to try and win a playoff game on the road..

You for thinking the Mavs are better than the Clippers. Your takes have always been ty but this one is the worst. Homecourt advantage against an inferior team or no homecourt against one of the best teams in the West. You choose the latter. ing re .
