can't wait for saturday game Wiz vs. Pistons. I think its gonna be a good game. Arenas gonna try to do his best to make Flip look bad for not playing him in the Allstars. He even said it on TV, "I'm out to get him" But Flip will also take this personally and Pistons will be out for blood. problem is, wiz have physical capability of playing rough vs. Pistons too.

    vs.

Wiz can play physically with Pistons? Maybe ... but playing physically in no way guarantees success.

Who guards Rasheed? Jamison? Nope. Jeffries? Nope. Haywood? Nope.

Who guards Rip? Antonio Daniels? Nope. Jeffries? Nope. Caron? Nope.

It took the Wiz two overtimes and three Piston starters to get fouled out to beat the Pistons ... oh and four 3-pointers by Chucky Atkins, who is no longer with that team.

Arenas was lucky to play 9 minutes in the all star game. Iverson only played 26 minutes. Billups only 16. How much time is the 12th man on the roster supposed to get, especially when he was the injury replacement?

    0-4 from the field
    0-2 from 3-pt range
    1-2 from FT line
    1 ast
    1 stl
    1 turnover
    1 pf

Not like he deserved more PT after how he performed when he was in there.

One commentator on the ASG said it best - the hardest part for the coaches is distributing the minutes to everyone.

I think the ASG is one game where winning really doesn't matter...therefore I don't know why you wouldn't play every player close to equally. Look at how Pop only played Tim and KG 15 or so minutes last year.

Flip and Jermaine O'Neal are the only ones that put him in the All-Star game. The fans and the coaches didn't. If he had a lick of class he would have just been honored to be there.

    Word.

Arenas only played 9 minutes because he sucked ass out there. He needs to just shut up.

Pistons will most likely crush the Wiz and Arenas will most like score 30 points on 8-25 shooting with 4 assists. Win-Win for both sides.

Yeah, amazingly, Arenas managed 34 points, and he held Flip Saunders to zero points on 0-0 shooting, 0 rebounds, 0 blocks, and 0 steals. Of course, there is a decided age difference.

    You should work for ESPN.

    G Arenas
    Minutes Played: 40
    FG-FGA: 13-19
    3 FG-FGA: 4-8
    FT-FTA: 4-6
    Rebounds: 2
    Assists: 6
    Fouls: 3
    Steals: 3
    Turnovers: 2
    Blocked Shots: 0
    Total Points: 34

He played very efficiently. There shouldn't be any hating, the Pistons simply got beat by a man on fire and a team with a sense of urgency.

the pistons are not looking like they did before the allstars. I'm sure many analists are already flip-flopping as we speak about who the champion will be this year.

Caron Butler and Arenas owned the whole Piston team last saturday

If only Arenas could learn to play with fire for his teammates instead of just when he feels personally insulted.

I'm sure many analists are already flip-flopping as we speak about who the champion will be this year.
Since virtually every analyst picked the Spurs before the season started, they will probably be flop-flipping back to SA.

yup. Arenas actually plays hard every night or almost every night. But the main thing is that he does show up for the playoffs. Last year, he was the reason Wiz beat the Bulls.
