Per Scout, the UT staff should be focusing on Louisiana and Florida this week.
Quotes from OL Denzel Okafor since receiving a UT offer (OrangeBloods):
"I had been in contact with a UT coach, coach (Joe) Wickline, since last year. He said to stay in touch, he would get up to see me. I kept working hard and he showed up on Wednesday," Okafor said. "He saw me practice and I called him that night. When I did, he told me I had developed a lot, had gotten a lot better since we saw you and they offered. I took me a year of work for that offer so it felt good."
"They saw I used my arms a lot, my wingspan, my 7-foot wingspan," Okafor said. "I use that to keep defenders at a distance from me. He said that was something that was good and the way I extend my hands."
"I believe I've improved. I have been working hard at it, and I think I've shown out some."
"A lot of schools are (standing out). About six of them," Okafor said. "TCU was my first offer, so they're still on top for me. Then OU and UT came. Then LSU, A&M and then Arkansas. Those are the top ones for me right now."
"He's (Charlie Strong) a good guy, a new coach and really trying to turn the program around. I just admire new coaches and what they can do," Okafor said.
"I'm using this summer to just cross out what I don't actually want to do. I want to major in kinesiology, so I want to research what schools can give me that," Okafor. "I'll maybe commit this summer, or may take it into my senior season or even after the season if I have to."
@HornsDigest: Here's a 5-star who has made 13 visits to #UT, per Jason_Higdon. THIRTEEN: http://t.co/5vFzIhoDpX
@HornsDigest
Wow!!
I can't remember if I already posted the full spring game, but here it is:
24/7 saying Texas visited DE Justin Madubuike of McKinney North today.
Has to make you wonder, if he is #2 amongst inside linemen, who the heck is #1 and what does that guy look like.
Per 24/7, UT is "extremely high" on the following 2017 prospects and all three will receive offers at some point:
RB, Toneil Carter, Houston Langham Creek

Great picture...
Update on OL Jean Delance of North Mesquite (24/7):
“People think I’ve forgotten about Texas, but I haven’t,” Delance said. “That’s just not the case. Overall, my interest in Texas right now is really high. Texas is going to see me in Austin a lot this summer. I’m telling you, I’m going to go down there a lot.”
“I talked to Coach BJ for a little bit, and he just told me to keep doing research on the program,” Delance said. “He said to take a look at what they’re building and the kind of players they’re putting out. I think they are going to prove they can turn it around.”
“I saw the numbers today, and there is no question he’s going to do that at Texas,” Delance said. “He had 15 players (in the NFL Draft), which is a lot. He’s going to keep putting out those numbers because he’s going to keep landing four- and five-stars. I wouldn’t be worried about not making it to the NFL if I got to Texas.”
OrangeBloods reporting UT will see ATH Christian Wallace of Sealy today.
Per Scout, Texas just visited 2017 RB Eno Benjamin of Wylie East:

Coach Wickline was in San Angelo this morning to see OL Braxton Webb, per 24/7.
The crazier part -- and I hope someone tells Delance this -- is that Strong accomplished what he did with 3-star recruits. I think only Bridgewater, the tight end transfer and Holliman were 4-star players.

Per 24/7, ATH Christian Wallace is trying to set up a visit to campus this weekend.
They think he could be ready to commit assuming he makes the trip.
OrangeBloods reporting OL Darius James has officially been granted a full release by the UT staff.
No word yet where he'll end up.
