Simmons points it out nicely here
http://grantland.com/the-triangle/th...ncan-question/
0:55 (Spurs 107, Clips 107) Kawhi makes a sweet hesitation move, finds the right shot (an open 12-footer) and totally short-arms it. Rebound, Griffin. (No DeAndre — still!) In the last three second halves of this series, Kawhi shot 3-for-23 and made only one shot that wasn’t a layup. That’s why, in Monday’s end-of-season press conference, Pop broke down Kawhi’s development as a future franchise guy by saying, “It’s a matter of understanding that it will be expected night after night after night.”
And it’s probably coming. But the Spurs desperately needed Kawhi to kick ass in Game 82, Game 88 and/or Game 89; he wasn’t one of the three best players in this series. Even if that next-level leap will eventually come, much like it just came for Blake (three years older), Duncan can’t wait around forever. I blame myself for throwing the Apex Scottie comparisons around. Put it this way: 1993 Scottie would have gone after a hobbled CP3 like a cheetah going after a stray gazelle that wanders from the pack. Kawhi isn’t all the way there yet. By the time he gets there, Duncan will be gone. Alas.
He goes on to expand on how the only 2 to show up were Mills and Duncan - something I also addressed that you dildos can't comprehend.
He was 1/7 during the 4th quarter![]()
I was thinking this as well and it's not really on Kawhi but more on Popovich. If you know Chris Paul has a bad hammy why let him walk the ball up the floor to run the Clippers offense? Kawhi or Green should have been unleashed to hound him full court making him expend even more energy just to get the ball up the floor or make him pass to get the ball out of his hands completely. It takes a lot out of the defender as well but I think the Clippers offense would have paid a heavier price.
didnt take long - please explain KL heroism when it mattered.
Take out his stat padding in game three, and your left with Tony Parker's numbers.
yeah, blame the guy who carried us during our winning streak and games 1-4.![]()
never said anything about tim duncan
"Simmons points it out nicely here" is a sentence that has never been uttered by anyone who knows anything about basketball, tbh.
Thank you Enrique for swinging the momentum in favor of the Clips
Scott, were you at the game? Post pics.

So as we can see Kawhi started out very well. Did he the bed in the 4th? Yes he did. Should your starting PG who is the worst shooter in the playoffs look to get you good looks while you're hot? Yes, yes he should. It looked like it was going to be his night yet for some reason he doesn't touch the ball for a good while in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs. I wonder who had something to do with that?
The thing you can't comprehend of those words -despite of Leonard's performance in game 7-, it's he can be that guy.
That's why Simmons mentioned Blake. Three seasons ago Griffin wasn't the player he is now, his game under pressure in playoffs needed time to mature, and the same will happen with Kawhi.
Unfortunately for the Spurs, for him, for us, the last two games of the series weren't his games, but the future looks bright for him.
And surprise surprise...he also said Kawhi have beaten any Clipper off the dribble whenever he wanted, when most people here said he just can score fast breaks and be a garbage scorer.
Joe, aka Scott, ging up another thread per par.
OP obviously knows talent when he sees it.![]()
Another thread, another ty attempt at Semen Shielding.
Yeah, your constant semen-shielding for Enrique is ty.
Who mentioned Enrique in this thread? We're talking about Matrix here. Go on, keep holding Berto's pocket while he moves from thread to thread
OP isn't going to respond to his great takes?
