his defense does not translate to the NBA as his lateral quickness is below avg
Yup. Just another overrated white American player. Not sure why so many Spurs fans want Bargnani 2.0.

    The scouts disagree.

The injury thing gets a bit overstated sometimes. He isn't Nene. Guy did play 172 of 178 games between '11-'13. He gets banged up alot though.

Of course it is. An above average two way player making less than $17 million over the next two seasons. Hibberts making about that in one season. Splitters deal would be pretty easy to move depending on the asking price of the Spurs.
Yeah, but how many of those games are played by Vagina, the guy has played 2 ty playoffs out of 3 and he is now ting all over the floor in his 4th playoff run.

By all means he is as of now a player that shrinks under pressure. The two FT he missed yesterday were all about plain fear.

Can the Spurs move up the draft for Bobby Portis instead, like the deal we have for K Leonard vice G Hill?

Theoretically, yes. Of course the team they trade with has to find whatever the Spurs are offering of equal value to a mid-first round pick, and they must either have the cap space to absorb the contract or be willing to also send a player back in return along with the pick.

All that makes it unlikely, but not impossible.

He would have to put on some muscle, like 20 maybe 25 pounds worth.

Thanks. Bobby Portis is an interesting PF pick that could help Spurs contain other bigs without sacrificing offense.

Read this thread and mentally replace Kaminsky with Nowitzky and American with European and see if it still makes sense.
