Gun owners of the USA are egotistical maniacs who believe because of some 'amendment' they have the right to shoot and kill as they please. Maybe they should have their guns swiped and given to some Hondurans who'd actually use them to save their own lives rather than to murder black people for fun.

Open carry is fine for hunting rifles, pistols on the hip, etc. The problem lies when people are doing it just to be defiant. They are intentionally looking for attention.
I won't go as far as saying it's stupid, to exercise one's rights. Someone needs to remind everyone that our freedoms are more than just what some think they should be. People may say it's stupid, but these people know they could get harassed. They are willing to in the name of freedom, and even if you disagree, you can't take that away from them.
Texas is about to have open carry for people with CHLs, as well.

I think it's stupid because of what you said about the ones doing it for attention, they give credible gun owners a bad rap as people try and paint all gun owners as these idiots. I also think it's stupid to advertise that you're armed.

I'm just curious what data you've uncovered that shows only 1 in 1,000 gun owners are sane. I'd also like to know where you learned American gun owners believe they have a right to shoot and kill black people for fun. I'm assuming you meant white gun owners too and I just can't find the data to support that as most black homicides by firearm are done by blacks themselves. Or maybe you were talking about American black gun owners with your murder black people for fun?

A former black college football player, flipped his car over and went to a nearby house to ask for help. The lady called the cops on him and he was shot when the police arrive, 10 times. Another guy was patted down twice, hand-cuffed behind his back and throw in the back seat. He allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest

This is the same place [Cleveland] where 2 cops shot a black kid playing with a pellet gun without giving any warning. They then lied despite the murder being caught on tape the city then blames the death on the kid.
Another black man was walking around Walmart with a toy gun he wound up being shot without warning by a plain clothed cop. The DOJ just came out with a report saying that Cleveland police offices frequently use excessive and unnecessary force.

why do you feel like you need to have a gun? to protect your house? do you have children? do you keep it locked up so your kid doesn't find it and hurt themselves and their friends? do you think a ing burglar or villian is gonna wait for you to go get your gun out of your safe before ing you up? again, what the do you need a gun for exactly?

Sandy Hook's shooter's mother left her guns unsecured, and the shooter was able to buy guns even with a record of mental problems.
Anti-gun nuts' policies, if left unopposed, would realistically usher in a world where the only people who have guns are criminals and murderers, people who don't follow laws. We've seen the "success" of banning alcohol and drugs in action, and people really want to ban guns next?
And before you respond saying everyone should just call the police in those situations, lib s want to neuter them as well, as shown by the biased media coverage that erupts whenever a police officer defends themselves from a violent, belligerent criminal.

Why is it that the combined murder rate of the nine European nations with the lowest rates of gun ownership is three times higher than that of the the nine European nations with the highest rates of gun ownership?
Why is it that Norway has both the highest rate of gun ownership and the lowest murder rate in Western Europe? Why is the exact opposite true of Holland, Denmark and Sweden?
Why did Russia finally start relaxing their gun laws and allowing people to own firearms for self-defense? Could it possibly be related to how when they had some of the most draconian gun laws in the world, their murder rate was four times higher than that of the US and 20+ times higher than Norway?
It's almost as if cracking down on guns causes criminals to either find other ways to murder/injure people or just get guns from the black market, while leaving law-abiding citizens defenseless! Who knew?
