He wasn't healthy![]()
Jrue Holiday, Patrick Beverly, and Conley weren't going to put their teams over the Warriors team.
You need to get over this stop linking the warriors winning to Laker fan's happiness then you would stop going crazy with this asterick bs. All the teams you about that had injuries would have still lost to the Warriors even if they were healthy. They just didn't matchup with the Warriors. The only team that could have beaten the Warrior's were the spurs and nobody else.
says who? when a team is missing a starter the entire lineup suffers and plays out of place
Spurfan wouldnt complain if the Spurs were in these finals.
uh no. if it were the spurs the media would be all over it and don't say no because you know it's true. the got laker fans here would be talking about another asterisk le for the spurs.
Why are people saying it like it's somehow the Warriors' fault that some of these Point Guards got hurt? Conley and Holiday shouldn't be on that graphic imo, both guys while banged up still only missed a game of their series with the Dubs. And Patrick Beverly was out, but Jason Terry did a damn good job in filling in for him throughout the Rockets' run. People are now grasping at straws to somehow discredit what the Warriors have done this season.
Best team in the NBA this year....check.
Best record in the NBA this year....check.
MVP of the league....check.
#1 offense in the league...check.
#1 defense in the league....check.
Only lost 3 home games all year....check.
How do you feel this team deserves an asterisk again? Because of injuries...really? They've been skull- ing teams all year long.
because they haven't played a team that was at full strength in the playoffs. not that hard to comprehend.
dont forget 99 is a double asterisk
Some would
don't forget duncans injury and the derek anderson injury
crofl lakers asterisk
Sorry excuse me...who are the spurs?
That would have been the case in the past and it did happen when they ed about the Spurs being lucky to win in '03 but I don't recall any les after the first two where the media discredited the spurs. Especially after winning 5 the spurs have gotten the respect of the media and that is evident with so many articles and polls stating the Spurs are the best team of the post Jordan era along with Duncan being now ranked ahead of Kobe by the majority of media pundits. Also who gives a what Laker fans have to say since we already knowing they are the stupidest fan base ever. You shouldn't be concerned with getting their respect since their respect doesn't mean anything.
Tammy had an asshole leak we didnt know about?
Yeah the op should really think twice before making ty threads, its already backfiring with a bazooka and he only has a pistol
D-Wade looked like he was 25% in the Finals last year....Ibaka too.
I guess we should throw an asterisk by our chip last year? no...all rings and championships are created equal. One is no more or no less deserving...
I don't give a damn about laker fans respect. most of them are frontrunning gots. and trust me, the media has and would be questioning the spurs le if they played teams with as many injuries as the warriors have.
Sure that happens but none of those teams are constructed to beat a deeper, more talented team in the Warriors. The Pelicans D is pretty solid but they're not consistent on O even with a healthy Jrue. The Grizz are anemic on offense and Mike Conley missed 1 game. Not exactly series defining. Patrick Beverly would be the 2nd most of concern but again, their offense went through Harden trying to do Harden things and Dwight who's not exactly Mensa out there. The only one I'd give any credence to is Kyrie Irving Because as the Cavs are currently constructed, he was the 2nd best option on the team. You don't replace 23pts 2 blks and 4 steals with J.R. Killing Folks Smith or Timofy Mozgov.
no. the dubs deserve an asterisk. that's all there is to it.
nope. wade looked like but he wasn't injured from what I remember. and no way in are they all created equal.
Weak year in the league and the Dubs took advantage. Only the Spurs could step up to them and we saw how that turned out.
It shouldn't discredit the Warriors' championship as you need some luck to win, but man I would kill for the Spurs to have an easy path like that.![]()
